JANE ZHANG – Work For It lyrics

Shock my body
Light up the fire
Can you ignite it
Turn up the flame on it

Get it started
Pull me in close
I want you on me
Show me why you want it

[Pre-Chorus]
Walk up to my session and
You know I’m turning heads
Got your eyes all on me but
You too proud to beg

You keep throwing signs
But I’m not a psychic
If you really want it
Better get it if you can

[Chorus]
You keep sending me signals
It’s like that subliminal
My body’s talking
Without words
I know you feel it too
Elephant in the room
The energy’s coming through

But imma make you work for it
But imma make you work for it
But imma make you work for it
Aaa work for it
Aaa work for it
Aaa work for it
Aaa but imma make it work for it

[Verse 2]
Temperature’s rising
I feel the heat
Somebody hit the siren
Turn up the flame on it

Get it started
You’re all I need
I want you on me
Show me why you want it

[Pre-Chorus]
Walk up to my session and
You know I’m turning heads
Got your eyes all on me but
You too proud to beg

You keep throwing signs
But I’m not a psychic
If you really want it
Better get it if you can

[Chorus]
You keep sending me signals
It’s like that subliminal
My body’s talking
Without words
I know you feel it too
Elephant in the room
The energy’s coming through

But imma make you work for it
But imma make you work for it
But imma make you work for it
Aaa work for it
Aaa work for it
Aaa work for it
Aaa but imma make it work for it

INNA – Nirvana lyrics

[Verse 1]
I got lost in the city
And it ain’t nobody but my own
Missing you on my body
(Oh, oh oh, oh oh, oh oh, oh)
Baby, I know we could be
Could be more than amigos
I’ll be good if you let me
(Oh, oh oh, oh oh, oh oh, oh)

[Pre-Chorus]
911, I’m on fire
Don’t leave me lonely
911, I’m on fire

[Chorus]
Smoking nirvana, ring the la la la la
Smoking nirvana, come on ring the la la la la
Started a flame inside my heart
Baby don’t ever put it out
Smoking nirvana, come on ring the la la la la

[Verse 2]
I got lost in this feeling
I got lost in nirvana
Grab my hand if you feel it
(Oh, oh oh, oh oh, oh oh, oh)
Baby, I know that we’ll be
We’ll be more than amigos
I’ll be good if you let me
(Oh, oh oh, oh oh, oh oh, oh)

[Pre-Chorus]
911, I’m on fire
Don’t leave me lonely
911, I’m on fire

[Chorus]
Smoking nirvana, ring the la la la la
Smoking nirvana, come on ring the la la la la
Started a flame inside my heart
Baby don’t ever put it out
Smoking nirvana, come on ring the la la la la

[Interlude]
Call 911 now

[Chorus]
Smoking nirvana, ring the la la la la
Smoking nirvana, come on ring the la la la la
Started a flame inside my heart
Baby don’t ever put it out
Smoking nirvana, come on ring the la la la la

Meek Mill Debut New Romantic Video “Fall Thru”

Meek Mill is celebrating his legal victory with a new music video for “Fall Thru.”

The Maybach Music Group rapper received some good news yesterday when the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that Judge Genece Brinkley should make a ruling on his bail application. The video starts out with Meek Mill calling up his girl and telling her to “Fall Thru” when she is done working. The MC then take us on a trip down memory lane from when he and his ride or die chick just met.

“I was locked up, I remember when I hit you / Used to write me back every letter that I sent you / You wasn’t my girl but you used to pretend to / When I came home, let me beat it instrumental / Lame left you scarred so I had to reinvent you,” Meek raps. Some fans thinks that he is rapping about his now ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj.

There is also a scene where Meek Mill popped a wheelie before pulling up to see his girl. Earlier this year he was arrested in New York City for popping a wheelie in the street and that formed part of his now legal troubles involving probation violation that he is serving 2-4 years in prison for. At the end of the video #Justice4Meek came onto the screen.

Meek Mill is currently fighting for his freedom midst a shocking 4 years prison sentence for probation violation. The judge in his probation case, Genece Brinkley, has been under heavy criticisms from all quarters of the country since handing down the sentencing earlier this month. Just this week, Civil Rights Activist Reverend Al Sharpton and rap legend JAY-Z spoke out about the unjust system of mass incarceration of young African American males. Despite the prison term, Meek is remaining positive, his representatives said. Comment on the video below.

Watch Popcaan Going In On Alkaline On Instagram Live

Popcaan went HAM on Alkaline on Instagram Live last night.

The Unruly Boss took some time out his busy schedule to talk with his fans on Instagram Live last night and let’s just say it did not go according to plan. While taking questions from his fans, one fan asked him to give the Vendetta boss a shout-out and well you can watch the video below to see what happened next. Popcaan lost it after reading that question and resorted to blasting the fan as well as his dancehall nemesis.

“Mi no beg bumbocl**t friend from no boy or gal inno,” Popcaan yelled. “Alkaline a batty boy bout big up Alkaline wha happen to you pu**y. How me fi big up f****t on bad man live how me fi do that. Alkaline them a batty boy them so don’t ramp with me, me will kick one of unnu in unnu face to. Don’t call no mullet name on me timeline.”

Popcaan and Alka have been at war since last year and earlier this year the MVP deejay released a scathing diss track for Popcaan, “Microwave.” The Vendetta head has not responded to the “Unruly Rave” deejay’s statement on IG Live.

Chronixx, Damian Marley & Morgan Heritage Gets Grammy Nomination

Chronixx, Damian Marley, and Morgan Heritage are the only three Jamaicans among the nominees for Best Reggae Album.

The Recording Academy released the list of nominees for the 60th Annual Grammy Awards yesterday and JAY-Z and Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with eight and seven nominations respectively. They are competing with some other big names in categories like Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. The reggae category doesn’t usually get much publicity overseas but in Jamaica, it’s a big deal and this year we have three local acts vying for the Reggae Grammy.

Chronixx debut album Chronology is widely regarded as one of the best reggae albums released this year. Morgan Heritage also released a very good album, Avrakedabra, and Damian “Jr Gong” Marley’s new LP Stony Hill is also well received. The other two nominees for Best Reggae Album are Wash House Ting by J Boog, and Lost In Paradise by Common Kings.

“When our music is celebrated by our fans, that is the greatest satisfaction an artist can ask for,” Morgan Heritage said in a statement on Instagram. “When your peers consider your music top of the class, it’s just humbling. These are blessings and we’re grateful to Jah for giving us the guidance, health, strength and perseverance to keep spreading this message of peace, love, equality and justice for all mankind. Bless up the @RecordingAcademy @grammypro for recognizing #Avrakedabra!”

This is the first Grammy nomination for Chronixx who is currently one of roots reggae’s most talented artists on the scene right now.

The Game Drops Freestyle “I turned 38 and I’m still rapping still”

The Game is celebrating his 38th birthday today (November 29) with a fire freestyle.

The Compton rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, posted three clips on his Instagram today showing a bottle of Hennessy beside a candle and himself in the background rapping a cappella. In the first clip, he started out by taking a jab at JAY-Z who famously responded to him in his song “The Prelude.” “I used to think rapping at 38 was eww / Until I turned 38 and I’m still rapping still,” Game raps.

“I used to think rapping at 38 was ill / When last year alone I grossed about 38 mill / I know I ain’t quite 38 but still / The flow so Special got a .38 feel / The real is back,” JAY-Z raps in “The Prelude.” Hip Hop fans things that it was a response to The Game’s line in the classic single “It’s Okay (One Blood)” featuring Junior Reid where he took a shot at Hov. “What DJ gonna turn down the thirty-eight snub? / You thirty-eight and you still rapping? Urgh / I’m 26 nigga, so is the dubs,” Game raps.

“Chill slow movement these days / Everybody wonna ball am cool with it these days / Yeah just happy a ni**a made it / If me and a ni**a meet I ain’t even wonna say it / But this morning am off Hennessy ni**a,” he continues. The Game also took a jab at Meek Mill being in prison and we all know about the deep rooted hatred between the two rappers. “F*** jail I wouldn’t wish it on my enemy,” he raps. He then went into a past controversial topic where he named a number of famous women that he has had intimate relationships with. “I smashed everything except Nicki, Bey, and Rihanna,” he raps after hinting that he didn’t want to embarrass Kanye West by naming Kim Kardashian on the list of women he smashed.

Some fans are already asking The Game if he will stop rapping since he is now 38 years old, especially after publicly calling out JAY-Z when he was 38 and still rapping. The West Coast rapper named a bunch of other rappers who he listens to including JAY, Snoop Dogg, J. Cole, Chance The Rapper, Cardi B, Nas, 21 Savage, Eminem, and more.

Sean Kingston Feeds Homeless In Kingston For Thanksgiving

Sean Kingston is getting a lot of praise for feeding homeless people in Kingston on Thanksgiving day.

Sean Kingston is now living in Jamaica but he is still celebrating some American holidays and for Thanksgiving last week Thursday, the “Beautiful Girl” singer and his mother took to the streets of Kingston to dish out some hot meals to the homeless in Jamaica’s capital. “Knowing that Jamaica doesn’t really celebrate Thanksgiving, it’s something new,” Kingston said. “I always give back in the States, and I feel like bringing it back to my home, my culture, my country is something dope. Last year I did it with Soulja Boy and Tyga. I do it every year because Mama Kingston loves to give back.”

Sean Kingston is currently touring the US and Canada for his Made in Jamaica tour which supports his latest mixtape Made In Jamaica, released earlier this year. The singer’s mother Janice ‘Mama Kingston’ Turner said she spent all day cooking up some classic Jamaican dishes like curry chicken, oxtail, jerk chicken and more. “We brought 500 plates and they ran out, and I had to get more,” she said.

Mama Kingston said she has been doing this for the past decade in Florida and California. “We did Florida for four years, California for six years and now, for the first time, Jamaica,” Janice said. Sean Kingston says that he will be spending the holiday at his newly purchased home in Jamaica with his family.

Damian Marley Wins Best Reggae Act MOBO Award

Damian Marley picked up the 2017 MOBO Award for Best Reggae Act.

A day after getting a Grammy nomination for his new album Stony Hill for Best Reggae Album, Damian “Jr Gong” Marley picked up another prestigious award at Wednesday night’s awards show for Music of Black Origin in the UK. Gong beat out stiff competition from the likes of Chronixx, Popcaan, Alkaline, and Aidonia, who have all had a great year in reggae/dancehall.

Some fans on social media are saying that Chronixx deserves to win both the MOBO and the upcoming Grammy Awards for the reggae category. The roots reggae star released his critically-acclaimed debut album Chronology in July of this year. The project has been well received and even made Rolling Stone’s list of 50 Best Albums of 2017.

Damian Marley’s new album Stony Hill is also well received this year and rightfully earned him a Grammy nomination. Hardcore dancehall acts, Popcaan, Aidonia, and Alkaline have all had a great year despite not releasing albums this year. Those three acts are responsible for a large portion of the biggest dancehall songs this year.

This is Damian Marley’s second MOBO Award after winning another MOBO in 2005.

Nicki Minaj Stars In New H&M Holiday Campaign With Jesse Williams

Nicki Minaj takes on a starring role in the new H&M Holiday Campaign with Jesse Williams.

This is the second TV ad for H&M that Nicki Minaj and Williams are starring in. The Young Money rapper has been teasing some behind the scenes clip of her collaboration with H&M and now we finally are seeing the ads where she plays a fairy godmother and Jesse Williams is her husband.

The nearly three and a half minute clip became available this week showing a magical fairy tale land of elves, fairies, Santa Claus and even his evil brother all in a parallel universe. The cut also shows Jesse Williams reading his daughter a bedtime story about an evil villain who stole gifts from children on Christmas, but he is tracked down by a brave young girl.

Nicki Minaj, aka the Wisest Thingy, aka the girls Fairy Godmother and Jesse Williams, aka the Fastest Fairy in the World helped the heroic girl by creating a black hole inside her bedroom. When that didn’t help her track down the gift thief, she magically found his address on the internet and it turns out to be Santa Claus’ brother. Watch the commercial below.

Meek Mill & JAY-Z’s Roc Nation Sued By Family Of Slain Concertgoer

Meek Mill and JAY-Z’s Roc Nation are being sued by the family of a concertgoer who was murdered.

Meek Mill has more legal troubles on his hand after the family of a man who was slain at one of his concerts filed a lawsuit against him and Roc Nation. The incarcerated rapper is currently fighting for his freedom after being sent to prison for 2-4 years for probation violation. Even if he manages to secure his release, his legal troubles are far from over.

The family of Jaquan Graves filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Meek Mill and Roc Nation, TMZ reported. The Philly rapper is currently signed to Roc Nation on a management contract.

Graves was shot and killed in the parking lot outside of the venue at one of Meek Mill’s concerts last year in Connecticut. He had just left the venue when suddenly gunfire erupted sending people running for their lives. The suite claims that Meek and RN “allowed thugs to remain on the premises, after exhibiting disorderly, disruptive, argumentative, angry and/or agitated behavior toward patrons.”

Turns out that this is the second lawsuit that Meek Mill is facing from the shooting incident because a second person also died. That victim’s family also filed a lawsuit a few weeks ago where they requested in their suit that the Dreamchasers rapper submitted a written response under oath about their questions about the incident within 30 days. That suit accused Meek of harboring thugs at his concerts making the venue unsafe for concertgoers. It’s unclear if the Philly rapper responded to the lawsuit. His lawyers are currently busy working overtime trying to get him out of prison.

He also denied having any involvement in the shooting incident and argued that the claims made against him in the lawsuit is filled with racist undertones and stereotypes.

BOJAN GRUJIC – Ne Znas Ti, Ne Znas

Na lošu kartu noćas igraš
i ne slutiš koliko gubiš
čim pomeneš mi njeno ime
ranjenu zver u meni budiš

Ni jedni slovo
ja o njoj nikom ne dam
ni da je najgora na svetu
ni jedno slovo
i zato dalje idi
čim ugasiš tu cigaretu

[Refren]
Ne znaš ti ne znaš
ko sam ja nekad bio
rđa je iza ovog sjaja
ne znaš ti ne znaš
njenih sam ruku delo
od sluge stvorila je kralja

Ne znaš ti ne znaš
ne bi mi zdravo rekla
da si me srela u toj priči
i mojoj duši
ma kolko da je grešna
ona na anđela još liči

Pravo do zvezda ti bi stigla
sve bih ti dao moje luče
samo da nju mi nisi takla
alđavo te za jezik vuče

Ni jedni slovo
ja o njoj nikom ne dam
ni da je najgora na svetu
ni jedno slovo
i zato dalje idi
čim ugasiš tu cigaretu

[Refren] x2
Ne znaš ti ne znaš
ko sam ja nekad bio
rđa je iza ovog sjaja
ne znaš ti ne znaš
njenih sam ruku delo
od sluge stvorila je kralja

Ne znaš ti ne znaš
ne bi mi zdravo rekla
da si me srela u toj priči
i mojoj duši
ma kolko da je grešna
ona na anđela još liči

Angel Dimov – Plavusa (Live)

Tesko je nocas bez plave kose
Nestaje zivot u meni
Rusite moju najvecu ljubav
Sto dadoh jednoj zeni

Uzmite, uzmite sve sto imam
i srce i dusu
al vas molim ne dirajte moju plavusu
(2X)

Na ovom svetu plavih je zena
Puno ko plavoga cveca
Al samo ona i niko vise
zivotu mom je sreca

Uzmite, uzmite sve sto imam
i srce i dusu
al vas molim ne dirajte moju plavusu
(2X)

Ljuba Lukic – Zena U Crnom (Live)

K’o crna zemlja pijan za stolom
u losoj krcmi sedim sa bolom
kao kroz maglu ugledah ja
prilazi zena u crnom sva

[Ref.]
Zena u crnom sede kraj mene
od jednom srce presta da vene
pijanu dusu recima takla
daj podji sa mnom iz ovog pakla

Ja podjoh za njom, ne znam ni kuda
ne zna ni glava, pijana, luda
da l’ hoce mene da oslobodi
il’ me u veci pakao vodi

[Ref.]
Zena u crnom sede kraj mene
od jednom srce presta da vene
pijanu dusu recima takla
daj podji sa mnom iz ovog pakla

Pomislih crno, to je nesreca
al’ ona postade moja sreca
ako ti bude kao i meni
sa zenom u crnom slobodno kreni

[Ref.]
Zena u crnom sede kraj mene
od jednom srce presta da vene
pijanu dusu recima takla
daj podji sa mnom iz ovog pakla
