Bad Husband Lyrics

[Verse 1: Eminem]
We never saw from each other’s sides, or eye to eye
Just eye for eye, lie for lie, fight or flight
So much baggage, need a luggage rack
But we carry on with our public spats and our feuds
Up back in the news, love taps when I dissed you
Like it was fun, actually used to run back to the booth
Jump back in the studio, give you a tongue lashing, then you
Laughed at a stomach tat with the tomb stone
It was funny back in our youth
But then it wasn’t after we knew
That we were done and actually through (and actually through)
But if there’s one fraction of truth
If it could be spun back I would do
So many things different, ’cause it was such a dumbass excuse
You hit me once and that I would use
To continue the pattern of abuse
Why did I punch back? Girls, your dad is a scumbag, I’m confused
Because—

[Chorus: X Ambassadors]
How come you can be a lord and a loser?
How come, how come, you can be a liar and a good father?
A great dad, but a bad husband
Why are you a good father?
A great dad, but a bad husband

[Verse 2: Eminem]
You were the beat I loved with a writer’s block
Just a line that’s hot, that I forgot
We laughed a little, cried a lot
I’ll never forget when you came home and you held Hailie
Day before you went to jail and daily
How we’d wait for that mail lady
Or by the phone for Mom to call
And I watched you pull yourself up and we decided on
Giving it one more try despite it all
You’re my lightning rod when my sky gets dark
I’m your shiny rocks in that tiny box
When we tied the knot, when we broke the knot
Every line we crossed we were supposed to not
Every time we fought, the insults, they got… thrown too far
Words that we said that we didn’t mean
The words that we meant that we didn’t say
The ones that we thought that we shoulda said
Letters written that we coulda read
Which maybe woulda lead to some good instead
And had this put to bed
But I’d be lyin’ still if I said I wasn’t sittin’ here askin’ myself

[Chorus: X Ambassadors, Hailie Jade, Eminem]
How come you can be a lord and a loser?
How come, how come, you can be a liar and a good father?
A good dad, but a bad husband
Why are you a good father?
A great dad, but a bad husband (Dad) (you said)
Forever be a hero in my eyes (I reply)
But there’s always another side to a good father
A great dad, but a bad husband

[Verse 3: Eminem]
We brought out the worst in each other
Someone had to make the sparring end
’Cause I loved you but I hated that me
And I don’t wanna see that side again
But I’m sorry, Kim
More than you could ever comprehend
Leaving you was fucking harder than
Sawing off a fucking body limb
Once upon a time where all we had
Maybe that was what drew us
To each other, it was true love
Shit that we never knew was possible
We might have loved each other too much
And maybe that’s what made us do what
We did to each other, all the screw-ups
‘Cause you always thought that you was
More in love with me, and I was thinking
I was more in love than you was
For all the times that we thought it worked
‘Til we saw how wrong we were
When the dust settles now and all the dirt
If I touch the rawest nerve all I want is for us not to hurt
And it’s been an exhaustive search to find the words
But I just heard “Mockingbird”
And got the urge to jot some verses and thoughts
The purpose was not to stir up or open wounds
I’ve caused a few, and so have you
Or argue whose fault it was, partly yours
Partly mine, but really no one’s
This is so tough, I’m gettin’ choked up
Oh fuck it, we both suck
We broke up, got back together
We both thought we had forever
Not bad people, just bad together
We were so nuts, backstabbed each other
Another blow struck, but there’s no duckin’ this blow
‘Cause it’s over and it’s closure
But I’m not so sure how to close this
I just don’t know how some people can be so good
At one thing and so fucked at a whole nother
Shit, it’s no wonder

[Chorus: X Ambassadors, Hailie Jade, Eminem]
How come, how come, you can be a lord and a loser?
How come, how come, you can be a liar and a good father?
A good dad, but a bad husband
Why are you a good father?
A great dad, but a bad husband (Dad) (you said)
Forever be a hero in my eyes (I reply)
But there’s always another side to a good father
A great dad, but a bad husband

Eminem – River Lyrics

[Chorus: Ed Sheeran]
I’ve been a liar, been a thief
Been a lover, been a cheat
All my sins need holy water
Feel it washing over me
Oh, little one, I don’t want to admit to something
If all it’s gonna cause is pain
Truth and my lies right now are falling like the rain
So let the river run

[Verse 1: Eminem]
He’s coming home with his neck scratched, to catch flack
Sweat jackets and dress slacks, mismatch
On his breath’s Jack, he’s a sex addict
And she just wants to exact revenge and get back
It’s a chess match, she’s on his back like a jet pack
She’s kept track of all his Internet chats
And guess who just happens to be moving on to the next?
Actually, just shit on my last chick and she has what my ex lacks
‘Cause she loves danger, psychopath
And you don’t fuck with no man’s girl, even I know that
But she’s devised some plan
To stab him in the back, knife in hand
Says the relationship’s hanging by a strand
So she’s been on the web lately
Says maybe she’ll be my Gwen Stacy, to spite her man
And I know she’s using me to try to play him
I don’t care, hi Susanne, but I shoulda said “Bye Susanne”
After the first night, but tonight I am

[Chorus: Ed Sheeran]
I’ve been a liar, been a thief
Been a lover, been a cheat
All my sins need holy water
Feel it washing over me
Oh, little one, I don’t want to admit to something
If all it’s gonna cause is pain
The truth and my lies now are falling like the rain
So let the river run

[Verse 2: Eminem]
One-night stand, turned into night staying
He was calling so might scram, now we hug tight and
He found out, now she feels deserted and used
‘Cause he left, so what? He did it first to her too
Now how am I supposed to tell this girl that we’re through?
It’s hard to find the words, I’m aloof, nervous, ensued
Don’t want us to hurt, but what you deserve is the truth
Don’t take it personal, I just can’t say this in person to you
So I revert to the studio like hole in the wall diners
Don’t have to be reserved in a booth
I just feel like the person who I’m turning into’s
Irreversible, I preyed on you like it’s church at the pew
And now that I got you I don’t want you
Took advantage in my thirst to pursue
Why do I do this dirt that I do?
Get on my soapbox and preach, my sermon and speech
Detergent and bleach is burning the wound
‘Cause now with her in the womb
We can’t bring her in this world, shoulda knew
To use protection ‘fore I bit into your forbidden fruit
Fuck!

[Chorus: Ed Sheeran]
I’ve been a liar, been a thief
Been a lover, been a cheat
All my sins need holy water
Feel it washing over me
Oh, little one, I don’t want to admit to something
If all it’s gonna cause is pain
The truth and my lies now are falling like the rain
So let the river run

[Bridge: Eminem & Ed Sheeran]
My name’s (ooh), my name’s (ooh)
Denver (ooh), river run
Call me (ooh), call me (ooh)
River (ooh), we’ll let the river run

[Verse 3: Eminem]
Always the bridesmaid, never “The bride, hey!”
Fuck can I say? If life was a highway
The seat was an enclave, I’d be swerving in five lanes
Speeds at a high rate, like I’m sliding on ice, maybe
That’s why I may have came at you sideways
I can’t keep my lies straight
What I made you terminate, my baby
This love triangle left us in a wreck, tangled
What else can I say? It was fun for a while
Bet I really woulda loved your smile
Didn’t really wanna abort, but fuck it
What’s one more lie, to tell an unborn child?

[Chorus: Ed Sheeran & Eminem]
I’ve been a liar, been a thief
Been a lover, been a cheat
All my sins need holy water
Feel it washing over me
Oh, little one (I’m sorry)
I don’t want to admit to something (I fucked up)
If all it’s gonna cause is pain
The truth and my lies now are falling like the rain
So let the river run

Uncle used to skim work, sellin’ nicks at night
I was only 8 years old, watching Nick at Nite
Uncle Psycho was in that bathroom buggin’!
Knife to his guts hope Daddy don’t cut him
Suicidal thoughts brought to me with no advisory
He was pitchin’ dummy, sellin’ fiends mad ivory
Grandma had the arthritis in her hands, bad!
She was poppin’ pills like rappers in society
I f*ck yo bitch for the irony
I’ll send Meechy at yo hoe if yo bitch keep eyein’ me

THE DECEMBERISTS – Ben Franklin’s Song lyrics

Electricity!
Yeah, you can all thank me
Took some lightning, a kite, and a fat brass key
And they’re putting up streetlights in Gay Paris
You’re welcome from our young nation

I’m the only American the French wanna see
They call me a genius, I can’t disagree
They have guns, they have funds
They can set us free
Invest in my reputation

And do you know who the f*ck I am?
Yeah, do you know who the f*ck I am?
Do you know who the f*ck I am?
I am Poor-Richard’s-Almanack-writing Benjamin Fuckin’ Franklin

I said, early to bed, bitches, early to rise
They make a man healthy, wealthy, and wise
Soldiers are fighting for freedom, they have no supplies
So diplomacy happens at night

John Adams debates at the gates of Versailles
He whines and parades and awaits a reply
As I stay up late with a succulent breast or a thigh
Alright, diplomacy happens at night

And do you know who the f*ck I am?
Yeah, do you know who the f*ck I am?
Do you know who the f*ck I am?
I am 76-and-I’ll-Still-Kick-Your-Ass Fuckin’ Franklin

One pain that lingers, the hitch in my stride
Is my son back at home who I could not guide
Who sits all alone in a prison cell on the wrong side
Stands against our young nation

So I play my ambassador part with pride
I am known in the world, and the world is wide
To my children, my sins may be magnified, but I’d
Do it all again, no hesitation

And do you know who the f*ck I am?
Yeah, do you know who the f*ck I am?
Do you know who the f*ck I am?
I am Poor-Richard’s-Almanack-writing Benjamin Fuckin’ Franklin

(Do you know who the f*ck I am?) Who the f*ck I am?
(Do you know who the f*ck I am?) Who the f*ck I am?
(Do you know who the f*ck I am?)
I am Poor-Richard’s-Almanack-writing
Polymath, bifocal-wearing
Hardened glass-harmonica-playing
Benjamin Fuckin’ Franklin

G-EAZY – Crash And Burn lyrics

[Chorus: Kehlani]
Live each day like it’s your last
‘Cuz you never feel the moment till it’s passed (Hitmaka!)
Oh-oh
Time just keeps on ticking fast (you know?)
Know, there’s danger in the lesson learned
Slow down before you crash & burn

[Verse 1: G-Eazy]
These my day-ones I’m surrounded by
So everyone you see me with is down to ride
These girls be goin’ crazy when they see the life
And I be selling dreams I know she’s down to buy
The voices in my head tell me I should be honest
But I don’t pay attention, I don’t hear their comments (yeah)
And it’s bananas what I spend on diamonds
Understand me, this is cut from nothing economics
Living to the maximum, all these checks I’m cashing ’em
‘Cuz this could disappear quicker than how fast it comes
And I’m so high I’m numb
Living fast, I’m lapping ’em
Liquor, drugs, and sex addiction; I’m all of ’em wrapped in one
See me hoppin’ in a Wraith
Putting 15 million in a safe
Mama called on my birthday like “Hallelujah! 28, you made it out of 27 safe”

[Chorus: Kehlani & (G-Eazy)]
Live each day like it’s your last (like it’s your last)
‘Cuz you never feel the moment till it’s passed (you never know it till it’s gone, yeah)
Oh-oh
Time just keeps on ticking fast (you know?)
Know, there’s danger in the lesson learned
Slow down before you crash & burn
Oh-oh (yeah)
Oh-oh (you know)
Better, slow down before you crash & burn (yeah)

[Verse 2: G-Eazy]
Never lose control, but I get close to it
Live in the moment, I’m just tryna make the most of it
The other night I swear I took down the baddest bitch
I passed out, she snuck a pic and she posted it
That makes a hundred problems, I just counted it
Everything’s authentic, this ain’t counterfit
I’m just tryna make my mama proud of it
Stay in control up until you spiral out of it
Living fast as freeways, I ain’t slept in three days
Making money three ways, keep on running these plays
And I don’t need praise, I need more paid days
Need more vacays, never took the safe way
I’m living like the villain does
They say karma’s coming ’round but until it does
Imma do these drugs till I feel a buzz
I ain’t slowing down, I’m tryna live it up

[Chorus: Kehlani & (G-Eazy)]
Live each day like it’s your last (like it’s your last)
‘Cuz you never feel the moment till it’s passed (you never know it till it’s gone, yeah)
Oh-oh
Time just keeps on ticking fast (you know?)
Know, there’s danger in the lesson learned
Slow down before you crash & burn
Oh-oh (yeah)
Oh-oh (you know)
Better slow down before you crash & burn

G-Eazy – Eazy Lyrics

[Hook]
Easy, easy
Pull out your heart to make the being alone (yeah)
Easy, easy (talkin’ to my younger self)
Pull out your heart to make the being alone

[Verse 1]
Dear Gerald, you’re fourteen years and a truant
You’re trying to find your place, and figure out where you fit
You’re finna start rappin’ with a kid you went to school with
But, more on that later, right now you’re going through it
See, you’re going to have to prove that you ain’t soft and you’re not stupid
And you gon’ have to scrap with some kids that you ain’t cool with
You got a short temper, just be careful when you lose it
You wanna be the man, but it’s gon’ take some time to prove it
You’ll fall in love, but she’s gon’ break your heart and put you through it
Fuck falling for that bullshit, you gon’ fall in love with music
You’re finna get arrested, almost fuck around and lose it
Spend days in juvy standing at the window, looking through it
Nothing in life is promised, not even free-time is
So, only chase dreams, and only chase commas
Won’t happen on its own, trust, trust, we’ve been through it

[Pre-Hook]
If it was easy, everyone would do it
This game is not…

[Hook]
Easy, easy (Eazy)
Pull out your heart to make the being alone
Easy, easy
Pull out your heart to make the being alone

[Spoken]
I mean, I was fucking up
I was seventeen, I was eighteen, just doing dumb shit
My moms made me move to New Orleans and shit, I went to school down there on a scholarship
I finally got my shit together, I started taking music seriously
Then it started to kinda pop off a little bit, almost

[Verse 2]
Dear Gerald, 21, you think you’ve got it figured out
Got a big head from them labels trying to bring you out
‘Til they passed on you, they ain’t see what they was missing out
On, that flight home gave you some shit to think about
Scrambling trying to figure out, went back to the drawing board
Know they say rejection’s only supposed to make you want it more
But, no lie, you contemplating quitting, walking out the door
But, what the fuck you supposed to do? This is all you’re living for
Really it was that and Dev, that was all you had
Paying rent by engineering other rappers at the pad
Barely getting by, hella broke, you was doing bad
Then “These Things Happened”, you finally seen a bag
You drove down the highway, a fork in the road
A normal life with her, or going for broke?
I seen an open lane and I drove straight through it

[Pre-Hook]
If it was easy, everyone would do it
This game is not…

[Hook]
Easy, easy
Pull out your heart to make the being alone
Easy, easy
Pull out your heart to make the being alone

[Spoken]
I literally sold all my shit
I moved out of my place in New Orleans
I was bouncing around, living out of a suitcase
Crashing on friends’ couches
Living at air B&Bs and hotels
Trying to make the album
Trying to make When It’s Dark Out
If I could take it there, that’d be great

[Verse 3]
Dear Gerald, life changed since you dropped your second album
And Me, Myself & I just went 7x Platinum
Toured around the world, damn, you really had ‘em
But now you’re 27 and it’s time to be a legend
Back when it all started, grinding hard on that promo tour
Tired from the night before and the night before and the night before
Fuck it, tomorrow, gotta fly some more
Don’t complain, this is what you signed up for
You’re working for your family, managers, agents
They all want something different from you, tell them all patience
But, this one’s on you, the lonely quest of greatness
Been trying to be famous, been trying to be A-list
When you arrive, it will appear as if there’s nothing to it
But, you planted the seeds and you grew it
There’s people taking credit for success that they had nothing to do with

[Pre-Hook]
If it was easy, everyone would do it
This game is not…

[Hook]
Easy, easy (Eazy)
Pull out your heart to make the being alone
Easy, easy
Pull out your heart to make the being alone

[Spoken]
So now you’re here
What you gon’ do with it?
You know?

[Verse 4]
Make no mistake, listen it’s the life that I was chosen for
All I prayed for was an open door
I’ve been rich, I’ve been broke before
I’ve seen the floor
You try to put me in a box, I’ll box out like Okafor
And fuck being indecisive now I’m so for sure
And fuck Trump, it’s like “What the fuck we voted for?”
And most of y’all should probably party less and focus more
And if that line resonates, you’re probably who I wrote it for
Where will I go from here? “IDK”
They want me to architect Rome, in a day
Juice knew I was greatness when he looked at me
Right away, I’ve made platinum records that’ll never see the light of day
This is what the whole world’s been waiting for
The crowd’s jumping, going dumb till they break the floor
Come take a walk inside my mind, come and take a tour
I’m really not playing, what the fuck you take me for?

[Hook]
Easy, easy
Pull out your heart to make the being alone
Easy, easy
Pull out your heart to make the being alone
Easy
Easy
Easy

G-EAZY – Charles Brown lyrics

[Chorus: Jay Ant]
Trying to know what the future holds
But it ain’t for you to know
I treat my self like the usual
But it ain’t for you to know
I’m thinkin’ clear, never losin’ hope
But it ain’t for you to know
Tell myself like usual
But it ain’t for you to know

[Verse 1: G-Eazy]
Sometimes I gotta be dolo alone, just walkin’ around
Young Gerald, young Charlie Brown
Some sh*t’s better to keep to yourself than say aloud
Some sh*t you see and they don’t, so I simply jot it down
It was written, had the vision as a youth that I would make it here one day
A flight to the top, cop a one-way
But looking out the window on the subway, 16, slapping Mac Dre
Somehow I always knew it’d be that way
I felt this so clear it’s like a rode a time machine and I saw it
I paint the picture and draw it, I fold it up in my wallet
Keep it with me everywhere I go just as a reminder
Told myself every time I get discouraged or tired
I got greatness inside of me
I go against the greats until they tired of me
I’ve heard it all, nothing surprises me
See, I’m the one, I’m the anomaly
But never mind me, I’ll just be up over here killing ’em quietly
You know?

[Chorus: Jay Ant]
Trying to know what the future holds
But it ain’t for you to know
I treat my self like the usual
But it ain’t for you to know
I’m thinkin’ clear, never losin’ hope
But it ain’t for you to know
Tell myself like usual
But it ain’t for you to know

[Interlude: G-Eazy]
Yeah, and I heard ’em say
Nothing’s ever promised, tomorrow or today
From the Bay, like 40 and Dre
So Imma do it in a major way
I said, I heard ’em say
Nothing’s ever promised, tomorrow or today
From the Bay, like 40 and Dre
Chasing dreams, it’s the only way

[Verse 2: E-40]
I’m still here, remember these lyrics
And when I’m dead and gone, I’ll be there in spirit
Don’t let ’em run my name in the mud, don’t let ’em smear it
Just pour some Rossi out, go ahead and tear it
One of a kind, no copy
Tell your grandchildren’s children ’bout me
Tell ’em I was the illest
Let ’em know I spit the realest
Went from pennies and nickels to large amounts
Kept it in the hood, where it counts
Never was them, always was him
Had to prove myself, time and time again
Just when they thought it was it, he back with another hit
We brought the Bay to the rest of the world (who was it?)
E-40 and Gerald

[Chorus: Jay Ant]
Trying to know what the future holds
But it ain’t for you to know
I treat my self like the usual
But it ain’t for you to know
I’m thinkin’ clear, never losin’ hope
But it ain’t for you to know
Tell myself like usual
But it ain’t for you to know

[Verse 3: G-Eazy]
So where I go from here?
I did the most you could possibly pack into a year
Now I can either fall off and completely disappear
Or, I can move up to the highest tier
Conversations with Gerald, standing in front the mirror
Ask myself like “Fuck the bullsh*t, what you really fear?”
We all want to be understood, hope they hear us clear
But that sh*t never happens everywhere
So I just do me on my “f*ck the world” sh*t
I’m riding through the town listening to Earl’s sh*t
Been trying to lift the Bay up, I could probably curl it
I learn from the legends, they tell me “you’re it”
So I always maintain and try to stay sane
But, just do you, give a f*ck what they sayin’
We artists are all alike, we feel the same pain
You want the whole world? You want the same thing

[Chorus: Jay Ant]
Trying to know what the future holds
But it ain’t for you to know
I treat my self like the usual
But it ain’t for you to know
I’m thinkin’ clear, never losin’ hope
But it ain’t for you to know
Tell myself like usual
But it ain’t for you to know

G-EAZY – Leviathan lyrics

[Chorus: Sam Martin]
Wanna mess with me, you better know your place
Look around ’til you’ve lost your way
I play no games I’ve got many names
Wanna swim in fire, don’t take all day
Trouble me and don’t be afraid
Still got time to walk away
Lucifer, Leviathan (yeah)
He is I girl, and I am him

[Verse 1: G-Eazy]
Yeah
Be careful, you don’t want this
Carefree, but there’s a dark side that haunts this
Paparazzi gossip, loves to watch this
But drugs take me away when I pop this
Rock ‘n Roll, lifestyle at a fast pace
‘Rari like a Nascar in a drag race
Zoom, zoom, why the f*ck are you in last place?
Need to catch up where I’m at, that’s a fast chase
Uh, take a shot ‘cuz you’re drinking slow
Pour a glass, but nothing’s chasing my whiskey though
So, if you didn’t know now, I’m a savage
And this has already been established
Your friends tried to dip, but you here, you’re not trying to go
If you ain’t ready for it all, good, let me know
I looked her in her eyes, she stared back all silent
When I told her I’m the devil, I was smiling

[Chorus: Sam Martin]
Wanna mess with me, you better know your place
Look around ’til you’ve lost your way
I play no games I’ve got many names
Wanna swim in fire, don’t take all day
Trouble me and don’t be afraid
Still got time to walk away
Lucifer, Leviathan (yeah)
He is I girl, and I am him

[Verse 2: G-Eazy]
Drugs on the table on a Wednesday
Long nights and Advil for the next day
You’d be scared if you listen what you’re friends say
The worst thing to happen to you, in the best way
Yeah, but no lie, you’re attracted to it
A good girl, but you’re scared that it’s bad to do it
Life is sin, every night we get back into it
But, see, I live in this place, you just passin’ through it
Welcome to my world, let me walk you through it
If you step inside the Matrix, ain’t no dodgin’ bullets
Ain’t no fairy-tale, welcome to the darker side
Moon rocks, a glass of water, now she’s on a ride
Yeah, she’s like “damn, y’all are wildin’”
We live a little different, living on my own island
But clearly it’s working ’cause the money keep piling
When I told her I’m the devil, I was smiling

[Chorus: Sam Martin]
Wanna mess with me, you better know your place
Look around ’til you’ve lost your way
I play no games I’ve got many names
Wanna swim in fire, don’t take all day
Trouble me and don’t be afraid
Still got time to walk away
Lucifer, Leviathan (yeah)
He is I girl, and I am him
Lucifer, and I am him
Lucifer, Leviathan
He is I girl, and I am him

[Bridge: G-Eazy]
It’s a monster, it’s not safe here
Run for the hills, but not these hills
Land of after-parties and the cheap thrills
Liquor red cups, endless refills
Weed, cocaine, molly, e-pills
Looks sweet, but the devil’s in the details
The flow switch pace when the beat builds, yeah
Lucifer

[Chorus: Sam Martin]
Wanna mess with me, you better know your place
Look around ’til you’ve lost your way
I play no games I’ve got many names
Wanna swim in fire, don’t take all day
Trouble me and don’t be afraid
Still got time to walk away
Lucifer, Leviathan (yeah)
He is I girl, and I am him

G-EAZY – Legend lyrics

[Intro]
Yeah
I’m back drinking whiskey
OZ on the beat, yeah

[Hook]
(I-I)
Needed a reason to go off I think I found one (I think I found one!)
Don’t know what legend is until you been around one (Been around one!)
We poppin’ champagne on a jet, think I been wildin’ (you’re wild!)
Bottle after bottle, I just drank a gallon (yee! yee!)
Since I was young they say that boy he got some talent (he’s good!)
I put some gold up on my teeth and my medallion (bling!)
My favorite time of day, the name my second album (yeah)
The sun go down it’s like a monster just came out him
Yeah

[Verse 1]
I just wanna chill and tuck off with a bad one
Man, y’all be stressing me, ah, f*ck I need a Valium
I remember when I first made thirty thousand
And now I spent that on some dinner, eat Italian (linguine!)
We really did it, bruh, we came up from the bottom
It’s what is, I swear I see it how I call it
I swear you’re lookin’ like a L, you’re not far from it
And I just go into the booth and then I vomit
The neighbors knocking, all complaining bout the volume
I bought the house, bitch I don’t understand the problem
They bite the swag off, stealing juice, I swear they robbin’
I swear my lifestyle ’97 Dennis Rodman

[Hook]
(I-I)
Needed a reason to go off I think I found one (I think I found one!)
Don’t know what legend is until you been around one (Been around one!)
We poppin’ champagne on a jet, think I been wildin’ (you’re wild!)
Bottle after bottle, I just drank a gallon (yee! yee!)
Since I was young they say that boy he got some talent (he does!)
I put some gold up on my teeth and my medallion (bling!)
My favorite time of day, the name my second album (yeah)
The sun go down it’s like a monster just came out him
Yeah

[Verse 2]
I just want to pull off in that Testarossa (Vroom!)
I just sent a text and then that bitch came over (hi!)
Man, I be faded, faded, rarely am I sober (I’m gone!)
And you ain’t got it, you a muthaf*ckin’ poser (bitch!)
She wanna f*ck, eeh, I’m not mad at it
It’s all right there, man, you just gotta go and grab it (yah!)
I text I want her, then I fly her like Aladdin (woo!)
But if she ain’t the baddest, then I put her in ??? (sorry)
They follow me at the party, I walk around it
Like, “Is it me, or did this room just get crowded?” (f*ck off)
And they’s some sixes up in here, like who allowed in? (who?)
She thinks she’s got a chance, I really f*ckin’ doubt it

[Hook]
(I-I)
Needed a reason to go off I think I found one (I think I found one!)
Don’t know what legend is until you been around one (Been around one!)
We poppin’ champagne on a jet, think I been wildin’ (you’re wild!)

[Outro]
Dr. Jekyll & Mr Hyde, yeah
Yeah
Woo!
Yee!

Eminem On Dr. Dre’s Involvement In Revival “I love to play my stuff for Dre”

Eminem and Dr. Dre has had a close relationship over the years.

Em’s new album Revival is now out and fans are wondering what was Dr. Dre’s contribution to the project. The album was prematurely leaked online a day before its released and fans had mixed reactions comparing to the Detroit rapper’s past work. The Detroit rap legend did a sit down with Shade 45 “Fireside Chat” where he opened up about the new album and his current relationship with Dr. Dre.

“It’s always the same with me and Dre. Over the years, we’ve really become close friends,” Eminem said. “I would never look at it any other than that. This album, the last year or so is when things started to connect, and I know Dre was taking a break, and I knew that he had taken some time off, so I couldn’t really hit him up for some beats, so I kind of just kept going with what I was doing and came to him when the album was pretty much almost finished. We had the discussion that if he didn’t do a beat on the album could he at least mix, because he’s not only the best beatmaker in the world, to me, but he’s also the best mixer. Hands down. I don’t know what he does on the boards, like how he does it, because I’ve stolen all his tricks, and I still can’t make it sound like he makes it sound.”

Eminem added that Dr. Dre never had the time to fully produced the album but he said he played the project for the Aftermath producer to get some honest opinion. “I love to play my stuff for Dre because I’m gonna get an honest reaction every single time,” Slim Shady added. “And Dre’s going to tell me if something sucks. He’ll do it in his own way. He’ll be like, ‘Alright, where’s the fun at? I want to hear the fun, where’s the fun at,’ if I play him a bunch of serious tracks. You know, I can tell by his reaction. I actually threw out like three or four songs last time I was in Cali because they didn’t get the reaction from Dre. I know when he’s really into something.”

Eminem’s Revival is currently available on iTunes/Apple Music for streaming. The project is the follow-up to his 2013 project The Marshal Mathers LP 2.

Jason Priestley Says He Punched Harvey Weinstein in the Face in 1995

Brandon Walsh did what now?

Jason Priestley, who played Shannon Doherty‘s good guy twin brother on the ’90s series Beverly Hills, 90210, claims that he once punched Harvey Weinstein during a confrontation at a 1995 Golden Globes party hosted by Miramax, a company the producer had co-founded and co-managed at the time.

Weinstein, who has made headlines in recent months over numerous allegations of sexual misconduct, has not commented on the actor’s remarks and alleged incident. A rep for Weinstein declined to comment to E! News.

“’95 Golden Globes… at the Miramax Party… Harvey told me I had to leave… I was leaving when he grabbed me by the arm and said, ‘What are you doing?’ I said, ‘You told me leave, I’m leaving,'” Priestley, 48, tweeted on Friday. “‘I didn’t say you had to leave,’ he replied. ‘You just told me to leave… right over there,’ I tell him once again. Getting heated now. He then grabs me tighter and says, ‘Why don’t we go outside and talk about this.’ That was all I needed to hear.”

“‘I’m not going anywhere with you,’ I said as I pushed him back and punched him with a right hand to his face,” Priestley wrote. “Suddenly, there were security guards pulling us apart and I was escorted out of the party…”

Mario Batali Includes Cinnamon Roll Recipe in Sexual Misconduct Apology

Screenshots of the newsletter were shared on Twitter on Friday and sparked an online backlash. E! News has reached out to Batali’s rep for comment.

“Mix together:
8 oz. of misogyny
4 tbsp of disrespect
1 cup of finely honed predatory behavior
Bake at 350 until the ‘open secret’ is cooked through
Sprinkle with feigned remorse
Finish with tone deafness to taste,” user @AlexaMKissinger tweeted.

“Guess he misplaced the humble pie recipe,” wrote user @EricNagourney.
