Pete Davidson honored his late father for what would have been his 50th birthday in a wonderful way.
The SNL star’s dad, Scott Davidson, was a firefighter who was killed in the line of duty in the September 11, 2001 attacks at age 33. Pete was almost 8 years old at the time of his father’s death. He has Scott’s badge number—8418—tattooed on his left arm.
The 24-year-old sketch comedy actor and stand-up comedian threw a star-studded 50th birthday party for his dad. He posted on his Instagram page on Friday photos from the bash, writing, “Threw my dad a 50th birthday party ln. It was lit.”
Guests included Davidson’s girlfriend Cazzie David and her dad and Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David, Riverdale actress Madelaine Petsch and her boyfriend Travis Mills, famed comedian Bill Burr, fellow comic and co-creator of Chappelle’s Show Neal Brennan, comedian and musician Dean Delray, comedian and actor Hannibal Buress, Miami Marlins center fielder Christian Yelich and Drake & Josh alum Josh Peck.
“Andrew Cunanan was a spree killer and he murdered five people, the most famous being Gianni Versace. Versace was his obsession. He was everything he wanted and couldn’t have. The series tracks through those victims,” Simpson explained. “We thought it was important to spend the same amount of time with the less-known victims as it was with the most famous victims. Versace weaves his way in and out of this story, I think, in a great way, but the journey itself is the journey of this killer across the country as he murders people.”
In other words, just because Edgar Ramirez and Penélope Cruz dominate the show’s key art as Gianni and his legendary sister Donatella Versace, don’t expect this to be a Versace family biography. While Gianni’s name may be in the title, it’s the word “Assassination” that’s the real focus here.
Late last year, J.Lo told HOLA! USA, “I’m in a good relationship. I feel like I can say that for the first time—I don’t know—maybe ever. And not that I didn’t have great relationships, full of love and adventure, but this is the first relationship I’ve been where I feel like we really make each other better.”
“My daughters think of dad as a hero now for the first time. It’s amazing,” Rodriguez said on Jimmy Kimmel Live in October. “They think they went to Heaven, and now they’re hanging out with Jennifer backstage. They’re dancing. They’re singing with her.”
If it all started with the big bang, what does it end with?
Fans of The Big Bang Theory might soon find out.
As TV’s No. 1 sitcom continues its reign, it’s been plagued with concern over when the stars of the CBS series might finally decide its time to throw in the towel. Currently in its 11th season, The Big Bang Theory has been already been renewed for a 12th season, but according to star Johnny Galecki, that just might be the end of the road for him and his co-workers. The actor spoke with journalists at the 2018 TCA Winter Press Tour following a panel for the network’s upcoming comedy Living Biblically, which counts Galecki as an executive producer, and he got very real about the eventual end.
Jon Snow may have known nothing of his alcohol tolerance level on Friday night.
Kit Harington, who plays the fan-favorite kind-hearted warrior and leader of the North on Game of Thrones, may have partied a little too hard at the New York City bar Barfly.
TMZ reported that the 31-year old star was drunk and uncontrollable, had banged on the pool table, grabbed at pool cues and got in people’s faces, which prompted him to get kicked out. The outlet quoted an eyewitness as saying that the actor initially complied with a request to leave the bar but then returned and had to be dragged out. Harington has not commented, while officials from the bar declined comment.
In a video posted by TMZ, Harington appears dazed as he chats with people at a pool table. A man and a woman pull him away slowly, while he appears to be unaffected. The actor is later seen touching two men on their backs and arms in a friendly manner. He chats with more patrons and is later shown leaving the bar.
Ashley Wagner says she is “absolutely furious” at the judges’ scoring but is “going home proud” after failing to make the Winter Olympics figure skating team.
The three-time national champion and 2016 world silver medalist finished in fourth place at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships on Friday, effectively crushing her dream of representing the United States in the Olympics at the 2018 games in Pyeongchang, South Korea next month.
“I’m furious, I am absolutely furious,” Wagner, who has competed in the Olympics before, told reporters. “I know when I go and I lay it down and I absolutely left one jump on the table, but for me to put out two programs that I did at this competition as solid as I skated and to get those scores, I am furious, and I think deservedly so.”
“I am a performer and that second mark is just not there,” she said. “I am absolutely OK with them being strict on my rotations. That’s what I think that U.S. Figure Skating should demand of their judges but it needs to be across the board. I don’t necessarily feel like it’s been that way at this event, so we’ll see how things pan out.”
She later tweeted on Saturday morning, “As an athlete, I’m allowed to be mad. As a senior competitor with over 10 years of experience, I’m allowed to question things. At the end of the day, I laid out my best and I’m going home proud! Congrats to the lovely ladies of the team, you’ve got me in your cheering squad now! Lastly Twitter, before you eat me alive, don’t forget there is a real person on the other end of your tweets.”
Indiana Jones hates them; it’s too bad Stassi Schroeder doesn’t…
The Vanderpump Rules star is no stranger to controversy, but the reality star has landed herself into some serious hot water yet again after posting a shocking image of herself and friends Rachel O’Brien and Kristen Doute all dressed up on Instagram Stories with the jaw-dropping caption: “Nazi Chic.”
To add further fuel to the inappropriate fire, the reality star tagged her friend in a handkerchief’s style as “Tupac chic.”
The post, which appears to makes light of the six million European Jews that were exterminated by Adolf Hitler‘s Nazis in the 1940s, was quick to spark outrage online, with some calling upon Lisa Vanderpump and Andy Cohen to kick Schroeder off the Bravo reality show.
In a possibly more surprising move, the reality star quickly took the controversial post down—only to re-post the same photo, which she then called an “appropriate redo,” but captioned it: “#Elsa-IndianaJonesChic.” Despite per personal caption switch, her friend remained “Tupac Chic.”
For those who need a refresher: in Indiana Jones: the Last Crusade, Indiana falls hard for blonde beauty Elsa Schneider, who just happens to be the one thing that Dr. Jones hates more than snakes—a Nazi. (BTW: sorry if that was a spoiler alert, but the movie came out in 1989—so that’s really on you.)
Looks like Schroeder’s version of “appropriate” is to take out the word “Nazi” and sub it in for a fictional Nazi, so she’s still calling herself a Nazi.
Ellen Pompeo took to Twitter on Friday to slam Woody Allen over his controversial relationship as public discourse over alleged sexual misconduct by powerful men continues to rise.
The Oscar-winning director, who famously married Soon Yi Previn, who he had helped raise after his ex Mia Farrow adopted her as a child, has not responded. Pompeo had made her comments days after Woody’s estranged adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow, who has accused him of past sexual abuse, criticized Blake Lively for working with the director, in a response tweet to the actress’ endorsement of the anti-sexual harassment Time’s Up fundraising campaign.
On Friday, Ellen tweeted she was “shocked” by the “people that work with this man.” She also wrote that “he married his daughter…people see what they want to see or don’t…Kind of hard not to see who this fool is.”
When a user voiced criticism about how some people “separate the professional from the person,” the actress responded, “You know what I call that?? Ducking predators and chasing trophies…it’s WEAK AF.”
Woody has defended his relationship with his wife and has denied Dylan’s claims of abuse. He has never been charged with a sex crime.
In an interview with InStyle Australia, the Revenge star spoke about her hunky British beau by stating, “I have a wonderful love in my life.”
“Trust is the most important thing in any relationship, because everything falls into place after that,” she added.
She’s baby bumpin’ in a bikini!
Weeks after Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel revealed via a baby bump pic on Instagram that she’s pregnant with her second child, the supermodel hit the beach in Brazil with her supermodel pal Doetzen Kroes on Thursday.
The two supermodels had all eyes on them when they spent some time on the sand at Espelho Beach during their New Year’s holiday. Amazingly enough, Swanepoel gave birth to her and fiancé Hermann Nicoli‘s first child, son Anacã, just 14 months ago.
Doutzen, who has two children herself, was all about cradling her pregnant friend’s growing bump. The models were joined by Doutzen’s husband Sunnery James. Earlier in the day, the families when to lunch together.
Last month, the 29-year-old was photographed showcasing her small baby bump in a string leopard-print bikini while out on the beach on the Fernando de Noronha archipelago off the coast of Brazil.

They’re totally twinsies!
Arriving via his motorcycle, Ben Affleck took girlfriend Lindsay Shookus to survey a new residential construction site in Brentwood, Calif. The couple laughed, smiled and joked around on Friday. The two appear to be so much on the same page that they’re even matching now!
For the outing, the superstar actor donned a leather jacket, grey sweater and jeans. Meanwhile, his lady love, who is a producer for Saturday Night Live, opted for a bit of the same as her leading man, rocking a black leather jacket, grey sweater and black jeans. The matching smiles were a bonus too!
During the construction stop, Affleck pointed out different things and appeared to show the 37-year-old around the property, which is in the same neighborhood as ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
The under-the-radar twosome came out in the open last July, and haven’t been hiding their love since. They’ve been spotted all over Los Angeles and New York City in recent months.

Looks like love…again!
Billie Lourd has been setting the rumor mill swirling in recent months, many speculating that the former Scream Queens star has reunited with her former flame Austen Rydell, whom she dated in 2016.
And last night we got a pretty strong piece of evidence confirming the rekindling—Lourd and Rydell hit up Moët & Chandon’s third Annual Moët Moment Film Festival party together at Poppy in West Hollywood, Calif. While the twosome didn’t do the red carpet together, an eyewitness tells E! News that they were with each other all night inside the soiree.
A source told E! News, “They were sitting at a corner booth by the DJ with Laura Dern” The insider says that Rydell “was by her side all night.”
The source also says that the pair left together around 9 p.m.
