Drake and Zoe Kravitz Just Friends Rapper Shot Down Dating Rumors

Drake and Zoe Kravitz are just friends despite fresh rumors that they rekindled their relationship.

The pair were spotted partying together at the Netflix’s Golden Globes after-party on Sunday night. Footage surfaced on social media showing the pair getting cozy with their arms around each other while dancing to WizKid’s “Show You the Money.” Drizzy was also deejaying at the party which comprised of a bunch of celebrities. Sources close to the Canadian rapper shot down the dating rumors saying they have been friends for a long time.

“6 God and Zoe have been friends for a long time, I mean they go way back, so seeing them hanging out at a party doesn’t mean that they are hooking,” sources said. “He’s use to these types of headlines so he simply pays them no mind, it’s like he is just immune to it because at the end of the day people are going to say what they want.”

Drake and Zoe Kravitz sparked dating rumors from as far back as 2013 but nothing was never confirmed. Drizzy even namedropped her in his song “Star67” which was released in 2014 on his joint album with Future, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. During an interview with Andy Cohen last year, the actress was asked about her relationship with Drake where she confirmed that they are very good friends. She also called him a cutie while smiling, hinting that she may have the hots for him.

Drake has been linked to a number of famous women over the years and just a few days ago, rumors surfaced he and Nicole Murphy are dating after he was spotted at her 50th birthday bash over the weekend. Last year, he was linked to Jennifer Lopez just months after his split with Rihanna. He was even linked to Nicki Minaj at one point.

Did Vybz Kartel Confirmed He Is Recording Music In Prison

Vybz Kartel is either just trolling us or confirming that he has been recording music in prison.

Since December, Kartel has been very active on Instagram, a tool he used to keep his fans up-to-date with his new music and post new photos of himself and his kids. On Monday, he shared a meme which pretty much expressed how he feels about his haters. “When badmind a wait fi hear seh Vybz Kartel stop voice inna prison,” the meme reads. In short, he is taking shots at his haters who want to see him stop recording music behind bars.

In 2016, Vybz Kartel broke his silence about the controversial issue of him recording music in prison. Not only did he dismissed the claims, he also said electronic devices are not permitted in prison which begs the question how is he able to be on Instagram so frequently?

“I’ve always been a prolific songwriter, and I record at breakneck speed as well, so I have a lot of surplus material to choose from,” the dancehall deejay told Rolling Stone. “There is a recording studio at another correctional facility [in Jamaica] but none here … cellphones, laptops, or any Internet-capable instrument are prohibited items.”

That same year, the National Security Minister ordered the department of corrections to conduct an investigation to determine if Vybz Kartel and other musicians are illegally recording music in prison. The investigation came up empty-handed, but the prison reinforced its security operation while also installing cellphone jamming devices. It’s also illegal for Vybz Kartel to be recording music in prison and if caught, he could be sent to solitary confinement and faced other penalties.

Nevertheless, he has been dropping more music than even artists who are free and his team has been saying that his slew of new music s from previously recorded unreleased material. That still doesn’t explain how Kartel has been deejaying about things that are happening now and he has been incarcerated since 2011. Unless he is a time traveler.

Maury Povich Thinks Nicki Minaj and Safaree Belong Together

Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels belong with each other, according to Maury Povich.

Since their breakup in 2014 over, both Nicki Minaj and Safaree have dated other people but one thing they both have in common now and that is, they are both single. SB has dated a bunch of females since joining Love and Hip Hop and not of those relationships worked out. He even suffered some embarrassment at the hands of a few of the ladies including Sophia Body who put him on blast during an interview and Star Divine who gave away all his stuff that was at her home after accusing him of cheating.

Nicki Minaj, on the other hand, has dated Meek Mill and Nas although she never really confirmed the later. Her relationship with Meek ended bitterly a year ago, while her split with Nas took place over the holidays. Maury says he knows a good love story when he sees one and the two former flames should give it a try again. “Uncle Maury knows a little something about love [Safaree Samuels] and [Nicki Minaj] why not try it again?” Maury tweeted on Monday.

Whether or not these two will ever get back together is a very long shot given the hatred that has developed between them over the past three years. SB even said in a past interview with Wendy Williams that he will never get back together with the Young Money rapper whom he dated for over a decade. That’s a lot of history so even with the bad blood between them now, you just never know what may happen.

Safaree himself regularly keep track of the happenings with Nicki Minaj only and last week he commented on a story about her split with Nas. “Yup, we’ve both been having bad luck in this department… Sigh Rastafari… Ain’t no hope in these streets,” he wrote.

Uncle Maury knows a little something about love…@IAMSAFAREE and @NICKIMINAJ why not try it again?

Nas and Kelis Made Peace For Their Son With Custody Agreement

Nas and Kelis have made peace at least temporarily for the sake of their son.

The former couple reached a custody agreement in their ongoing custody battle over their 8-year-son. Just a few weeks ago, Nas complained to a judge that Kelis has been hostile to him and is preventing him from seeing his son as per their previous agreement, TMZ reported. There were some rumors that she might have been jealous of the rap icon dating rapper Nicki Minaj and perhaps this is mere coincidence, but they reached an agreement just days after news of the relationship’s demise surfaced.

The couple’s new agreement will see Nas has his son Knight for extended periods like weekends which begins on Fridays after school and runs through to Sunday night or Monday night if it’s a three-day weekend like when a holiday falls on Monday. This new setup will cover January through to March when they are expected to hammer out a more permanent custody agreement.

RELATED: Nicki Minaj and Nas Break Up Denies Pregnancy Rumors

As part of the agreement, the couple agrees that both parties will not expose their son to social media, which means you will not see Nas or Kelis post any pictures of their son. In his most recent court filing, Nas called Kelis hostile and says she deliberately prevents him from spending quality time with his son. He argued that she only allows him to see Knight when it was convenient for her and has little regards for his wishes to see the 8-year-old. Seems co-parenting is harder than it seems, but at least these two came to the table and worked something out.

As for the rap legend’s career, many fans are hoping that they will get an album from him this year although no formal announcement was made. Nicki Minaj would have been a great stepmom but perhaps she wanted her own child.

Dr. Dre Reviving “Detox” Working On New Music

Dr. Dre is reportedly working on new music and plans to revive his shelved album Detox.

The last time that we heard anything about Detox was back in 2015 when Dr. Dre officially announced that the long-delayed concept album is dead, meaning it will never see the light of day. Now it’s 2018 and there are fresh reporting about the nearly two-decade old project. On Tuesday, ESPN reporter Chris Haynes reported on Twitter that he spoke directly to the legendary producer/rapper about the shelved album and he confirmed that he is working on a couple new songs.

That is some great news for Dre’s fans considering that he might have fans now who weren’t even born yet when he released his last album. It appears that Dr. Dre and his longtime friend and business partner, Jimmy Iovine, were at the Golden State Warriors practice yesterday when Haynes asked him about the album. “I asked Dr. Dre if Detox is permanently shelved and he replied, “I’m working on a couple songs right now. We’ll see,’” Haynes tweeted.

Here is a bit of a history about Detox. Dr. Dre first announced the album in 2002 and in the years following his announcement there have been numerous delays. It appears that he wasn’t too happy with the final product and constantly revamps it until 2015 he decided to leave it on his hard drive possibly. In 2009, Dre played the first official single in a Dr. Pepper commercial and announced that he would be dropping the project in 2010.

I asked Dr. Dre if Detox is permanently shelved and he replied, “I’m working on a couple songs right now. We’ll see.”

— Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) January 9, 2018

Fast forward to 2010 we got an announcement from both Dre and Jimmy Iovine that “Under Pressure” featuring JAY-Z will be the first official single off Detox. That year they dropped two more singles, “I Need A Doctor” featuring Eminem and Skylars Grey and “Kush.” In 2011, a few songs were leaked online including a song titled “Syllables featuring 50 Cent, Eminem, and JAY-Z. Between 2011 and 2014 a few songs popped up that were linked to Detox but was never confirmed. In 2011, 50 Cent did an interview where he said, the project might just be released as an EP. In 2014, Ice Cube said in an interview that the album would be released in August that year but that never happened.

The following year, Dr. Dre officially announced that Detox is dead because he just doesn’t like it. Seems he is now reviving the project.

Mariah Carey – Love Takes Time

[Verse 1]
I had it all but I let it slip away
Couldn’t see I treated you wrong
Now I wander around
Feeling down and cold
Trying to believe that you’re gone

[Chorus]
Love takes time
To heal when you’re hurting so much
Couldn’t see that I was blind to let you go
I can’t escape the pain inside
Because love takes time
I don’t want to be here
I don’t want to be here alone

[Verse 2]
Losing my mind
From this hollow in my heart
Suddenly, I’m so incomplete
Lord, I need you now
Tell me how to stop the rain
Tears are falling down endlessly

[Chorus]
Love takes time
To heal when you’re hurting so much
Couldn’t see that I was blind to let you go
I can’t escape the pain inside
Because love takes time
I don’t want to be here
I don’t want to be here alone

[Bridge]
You might say that it’s over
You might say that you don’t care
You might say you don’t miss me
You don’t need me
But I know that you do
And I feel that you do, inside

[Chorus]
Love takes time
To heal when you’re hurting so much
Couldn’t see that I was so blind to let you go
I can’t escape the pain inside
Because love takes time
I don’t want to be there
I don’t want to be there alone

Spice Girls – Mama

She used to be my only enemy and never let me free,
Catching me in places that I know I shouldn’t be,
Ever other day I crossed the line, I didn’t mean to be so bad,
I never thought you would become the friend I never had,
Back then I didn’t know why, why you were misunderstood,
So now I see through your eyes, all that you did was love,
Mama I love you, Mama I care,
Mama I love you, Mama my friend,
My friend
I didn’t want to hear it then but I’m not ashamed to say it now,
Every little thing you said and did was right for me,
I had alot of time to think about, about the way I used to be,
Never had a sense of my responsibilty
Back then I didn’t know why, why you were misunderstood,
So now I see through your eyes, all that you did was love,
Mama I love you, Mama I care,
Mama I love you, Mama my friend,
My friend
But now I’m sure I know why, why you were misunderstood,
So now I see through your eyes, all I can give you is love,
Mama I love you, Mama I care,
Mama I love you, Mama my friend,
My friend
Mama I love you, Mama I care,
Mama I love you, Mama my friend,
My friend

Panic! At The Disco – Death Of A Bachelor

[Verse 1]
Do I look lonely?
I see the shadows on my face
People have told me I don’t look the same
Maybe I lost weight
I’m playing hooky, with the best of the best
Put my heart on my chest, so that you can see it too

[Refrain]
I’m walking the long road, watching the sky fall
The lace in your dress tangles my neck, how do I live?

[Chorus]
The death of a bachelor
Letting the water fall
The death of a bachelor
Seems so fitting for
Happily ever after
How could I ask for more?
A lifetime of laughter
At the expense of the death of a bachelor

[Verse 2]
I’m cutting my mind off
It feels like my heart is going to burst
Alone at a table for two and I just wanna be served
And when you think of me am I the best you’ve ever had?
Share one more drink with me, smile even though you’re sad

[Refrain]
I’m walking the long road, watching the sky fall
The lace in your dress tangles my neck, how do I live?

[Chorus x2]
The death of a bachelor
Letting the water fall
The death of a bachelor
Seems so fitting for
Happily ever after
How could I ask for more?
A lifetime of laughter
At the expense of the death of a bachelor

Rob Markman – Believe Me

[Intro]
Man, I been moving so fast lately
I just had to get my thoughts out man
I ain’t talk to you in forever
But I got you though man
Shit gonna get better kid, trust

[Verse 1]
What up kid, I know you don’t know who this is
But I took the time to write, so I’m hopin’ you get it
Only time will ever tell if you opened and read it
But if I know you like I do, I won’t even sweat it
You probably up in your room, vibin’ to Nas
Wishin’ for your time, missin’ your mom
Prayin’, hopin’ God will give you a sign
Your brother doin’ his time, dawg he’s doin’ just fine
He gonna get out soon, everything will be cool
He gonna make a few moves, get a house with a pool
And that girl in your school, the one that you got a crush on
She like you too, try not to put a rush on
You wanna get your Puff on, please don’t stop
Thought I told you that we won’t stop (eh, eh, eh, eh)
Don’t ever let ’em tell you what you can’t do
Even when it seems like the world don’t understand you

[Chorus]
It seems that these dreams, they won’t ever come true
Believe me they do
Sometimes you wanna give it up, don’t know what else to do
Yeah, I been there too
They say seein’ is believin’ so you need a few clues
OK, I’m sendin’ you proof
I know it seems that these dreams, they don’t ever come true
Believe me they do

[Verse 2]
You wrote your first raps, everybody laughed
Man fuck ’em all, get in your bag
Oh that’s new slang, I’ll put you on later
Just promise you’ll keep goin’ do me that favor
You gonna rock Barclays, but you don’t know what that is
Imagine MSG, a couple blocks from the crib
Boy, that’s 18,000
Two weeks after droppin’ your album
It’s hard to see the logic in that
All the fans goin’ crazy and your mom in the back
Your fam in the crowd, they all got to see it
Man you gave ’em somethin’ to believe in
You been writin’ like hell, it’s gonna get you to heaven
Oh yeah, they played your record up on Hot 97
You know DJ Enuff, he DJs for BIG
Speakin’ of BIG, hol’ up forget it

[Outro]
Whatever you do man
Just don’t give up on that dream man
It’s gonna get crazy
They gonna tell you, you can’t do it
I’m tellin’ you right now everything is possible
EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE
