Alexa Ray Joel Slams Instagram Troll for Calling Her “Hideous”

Alexa Ray Joel doesn’t have time for Instagram trolls.

On Wednesday, Joel’s supermodel mom Christie Brinkley shared a picture of her 19-year-old daughter Sailor Lee Brinkley-Cook posing on a rock for Sports Illustrated’s Rookie of the Year competition. Clearly excited for her daughter, Brinkley wrote “my mermaid” and “#proudmama” in the caption.

However, not everyone shared Brinkley’s enthusiasm. Instagram user @sams7007 left an unkind comment about Joel that has since been deleted. Joel caught the comment and called out the hater.

“@sams7007 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, Mr. Big Shot. You may think I’m hideous, but I like the way I look. And that’s really all the matters,” she wrote. “(Besides, there’s a lot more to people than just what they look like.) But hey, continue being a shallow, hateful troll in life and and see where it gets you!”

Kate Upton Slams Guess for Employing Paul Marciano in #MeToo Post

Guess who’s not so happy with her former employer right now?

Kate Upton is speaking out against Guess, the brand that helped make the model famous, and its chief creative officer and former co-CEO Paul Marciano, known as the “genius” behind the denim house.

On Wednesday, the newly married model/actress took the company to task, tweeting, “It’s disappointing that such an iconic women’s brand @GUESS is still empowering Paul Marciano as their creative director.” She ended the tweet with a potentially telling hashtag: “#metoo.”

The “MeToo” hashtag began being used around the Internet shortly after a wave of allegations of rape, sexual assault and harassment were made against now-fallen film producer Harvey Weinstein, who has denied the claims. Many women and men, celebrities and non-celebs alike, came forward online about past abuse, trauma and harassment. The movement has sought to shed light on decades of abuse, intimidation, harassment and rape that has been covered up by both Hollywood and the media.

Rose McGowan on Harvey Weinstein’s Downfall: “I Was the Architect”

Colbert continued, “But now, we know that that’s what happened. Did you ever think that you were crazy for thinking that?”

McGowan told Colbert, “No, I always knew it was everybody else.” She then added, “I see things.”

Back in Oct. 2017, McGowan was mentioned in a New York Times article that shared allegations of sexual misconduct against Weinstein, stretching back over a decade. In the exposé, the NYT reported that in 1997 McGowan reached a $100,000 settlement with the Weinstein “after an episode in a hotel room during the Sundance Film Festival.” In response, Weinstein’s attorney Charles J. Harder said the article was “saturated with false and defamatory statements.”

Shortly after the exposé was published, McGowan took to Twitter to accuse Weinstein of rape. Since that time, McGowan has been a major part of the #MeToo movement.

Justin Bieber’s Family “Loves” Selena Gomez, But He’s “Still Proving Himself” to Her Mom

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been “laying low” as a couple, but photographers spotted them out together on Wednesday.

The “Wolves” singer was seen watching her beau’s hockey game in Panorama City, Calif. yesterday. And earlier in the evening, the couple was spotted attending church together.

“They were very happy to see everyone there and were giving lot of hugs and saying hello as they entered,” an eyewitness tells E! News. “They both seemed happy and relaxed. Justin was making funny sounds and joking around with people while Selena mostly kept to herself. Although they have come separately in the past, this time they were together.”

After church, the couple went together to Bieber’s game.

Amy Schumer Weighs in on Aziz Ansari Allegations and Sexual Misconduct

Amy Schumer, a victim of sexual assault, says she is “in the middle” when it comes to her stance on her friend Aziz Ansari‘s alleged inappropriate behavior with a woman.

Earlier this month, an unidentified female photographer said in an online interview that she felt “violated” during a 2017 date with Ansari. The Master of None actor and comedian said after the article was published that he and a woman had gone on a date and engaged in sexual activity, “which by all indications was completely consensual,” and that she texted him the next day to tell him that “although it may have seemed okay, upon further reflection, she felt uncomfortable.”

The article prompted fresh debate about what constitutes sexual misconduct amid ongoing discourse about the issue, spurred by assault and harassment allegations made against a slew of powerful men in and outside of Hollywood

“I’ve been flat-out raped,” Schumer said on Katie Couric‘s podcast, in an episode released on Thursday. “But there are so many other kinds of- there’s so much other sexual misconduct.”

In her 2016 memoir The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, Schumer writes about losing her virginity to a guy who had sex with her “without asking first, without kissing me, without so much as looking me in the eyes—or even confirming if I was awake.”

“We’ve all, every woman I know, every woman in this room, we’ve all had these experiences and I think in some ways, in this current climate, it brings these things up and you go, ‘God, none of that was OK,'” Schumer told Couric. “And I’m somebody who journals, I kept journals and I read back and I go, ‘I just feel so bad for that girl. Why didn’t you get up and leave?’ And sometimes, you do and sometimes you just do it.”

Charlie Puth Says His Selena Gomez Fling “Messed” Him Up

Charlie Puth‘s fling with Selena Gomez hit him harder than most people realized.

Gracing the cover of Billboard‘s Feb. 3 issue, the 26-year-old pop singer opens up about their 2016 collaboration, “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” and the brief romance that ensued. “It’s about a particular moment in my life, when someone very close to me wanted the attention of somebody else,” Puth tells the magazine. “When I found that out and we ended it, I might have done some shady things too, and she might have asked me, ‘How long has this been going on?'”

Without saying it outright, Puth implied that his songs “Attention” and “How Long” were inspired by Gomez, who is dating Justin Bieber again. “I don’t kiss and tell, but the only way a song like that can come across as real is if there’s something else going on behind the scenes. And that’s what was happening. Very short-lived, very small, but very impactful. And it really messed me up. I’m trying to put this the best way possible: It wasn’t like I was the only person on her mind,” Puth explains. “And I think I knew that going in—what I was getting myself into.”

Ellen DeGeneres Cries After Receiving the “Best” Birthday Gift From Portia de Rossi

Portia continued, “So, I combined that with the fact that literally guys, for like the last two years, Ellen has said to me I feel like I’m not doing enough. Every day, almost. So, I put all that together and I got you this gift. So, let’s see it – happy birthday!”

A video then played in which Portia talks about Ellen’s hero, Dian Fossey, and her dedication to animals.

“So, for your birthday, Ellen, I am bringing you and your hero, Dian, together by building The Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund,” Porita said. “Ellen, you will carry on Dian’s legacy by giving them a permanent home in Rwanda. Now, you will join Dian as a protector and champion of these amazing animals, the mountain gorillas. Happy birthday!”

Robert Wagner Considered a “Person of Interest” in Natalie Wood’s Death

Almost 40 years after actress Natalie Wood mysteriously drowned, Los Angeles Country Sheriff’s investigators have revealed that her ex husband Robert Wagner is a person of interest.

The investigators spoke about the reopened case to 48 Hours for the TV special “48 Hours: Natalie Wood: Death in Dark Water.”

“As we’ve investigated the case over the last six years, I think he’s more of a person of interest now,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lieutenant John Corina told correspondent Erin Moriarty. “I mean, we know now that he was the last person to be with Natalie before she disappeared.”

Jane Lynch Says Mark Salling Lived a “Troubled” Life

Still, Lynch has fond memories of Salling.

“He took videos of the stages and everything. He was so happy to be coming to work, to be on the show,” she told the magazine. “He wrote a song and videotaped his day being on Glee. Driving into the Paramount lot … at that time he was living on a cot in a little room. It was a big jump for him in his career, and also, he had a job and was in with this group of really great kids. I think he knew that he was breathing rarefied air. There was so much joy and happiness in his musical video that he shot for himself. Fox made him take it down. But it was a sweet, beautiful expression of his joy and being in Glee.”

“Left Shark” Breaks Silence About Viral Super Bowl Performance With Katy Perry

“Left Shark” finally speaks!

Katy Perry had performed at the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show with two backup dancers wearing shark costumes. The person on the viewers’ right danced in sync while the person on the left…well, they were more of a free spirit. Naturally, “Left Shark” was somewhat mocked, but also became the Internet’s hero.

A day after the game, the man inside the “Right Shark” costume revealed he is Scott Myrick, one of Perry’s backup dancers and BFFs. The identity of “Left Shark” remained a mystery to most people for the past three years, although the performer, Bryan Gaw, had actually posted on Instagram about the performance on the day of the Super Bowl, writing alongside a photo of Perry with her sharks, “Yep. The rumors are true. Yours truly. #SuperBowlXLIX #KatyPerryHalftimeShow.”

NPR recently caught up with Gaw and asked him about his much-talked about dance moves. He said that the role of “Left Shark” involved some freedom of expression.

“So there’s a set choreography,” he said. “There’s also what’s called free-style choreography, or, like, you get to move around or play your character as a dancer…I’m in a 7-foot blue shark costume. There’s no cool in that. So what’s the other option? Well, I’m gonna play a different character.”

The character, he said, was an underdog, an everyday person and someone imperfect.

Gaw told the outlet, “Actually I don’t get any negative feedback from it. If anything, people are, like, ‘Whoa, that’s so cool!'”

Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart Reveals How Cole Sprouse Keeps Her ”Grounded”

From the outside looking in, Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse are on top of the world right now.

Not only do they have each other, making one of the cutest couples in Hollywood (#Bughead forever), they also have their increasingly popular CW series, Riverdale, taking their careers to the next level.

However, despite having it all, the 21-year-old actress says she and her man are focused on staying grounded, especially when it comes to the negative sides of fame.

Covering the latest issue of Ocean Drive magazine, Reinhart opens up about how Sprouse (who’s dealt with fame since he was a child) helps her and the cast of Riverdale through those challenges.

“He really brings us down to earth if we’re feeling like something we’ve said is being taken out of context,” she explained. “He’s always the one to be like, ‘Just ignore it. It will blow over.’ It’s a nice, calming energy he has because you know that he’s been through it.”

Gisele Bündchen Shares a No-Frills Glimpse Into Her Family Life With Tom Brady

No makeup, no stylists, no artificial lighting—just Gisele Bündchen

For the iconic supermodel’s latest cover and photo shoot for Vogue Italia, the mother of two has graciously opened her Boston doors to the magazine—and the world. Clad in sweats and bunny slippers, Bündchen set the tone for the fuss-free shoot by posing without makeup or artificial lighting and played stylist to herself. As a result, she’s the first model to ever appear on the cover of the longtime magazine with a bare face.

The move certainly speaks to the overall aesthetic of the story as the photos feature not only the runway veteran, but also her famous husband, Super Bowl regular Tom Brady, and their two children together, 5-year-old daughter Vivian and 8-year-old son Benjamin, in the midst of what appears to be their at-home routine.

Inside Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Daughter Chicago’s Luxe Nursery

Kim’s “Tea for 3” baby shower for Chicago was certainly an indication of the glamour the couple was going for for their third child.

The reality star and a gaggle of ladies descended into a fairy tale land of pink.

For the event, Kim pulled out the stops for her cherry blossom-themed shower, which was decked out in “endless” pink flowers for the “low-key tea.” The event spot was teaming with flowers everywhere. Kim even offered guests ice cubes that had frozen pink roses in them.

At the time, Kim, who confirmed she was expecting a third child in September, referred to the decor as a “cherry blossom forest.”
