When it comes to putting people at ease, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middletonis quite the pro.
She sweetly sat down with young students and their parents on Tuesday during a visit to Pegasus Primary School in Oxford. In honor of the visit, the soon-to-be mother of three learned more about Family Links, an Oxford-based organization geared toward empowering students, families and schools to be emotionally healthy through workshops for entire families.
Always chicly dressed, Middleton kept warm in her wool-mix JoJo Maman Bébé winter white coat, which she wore back in 2015 for a visit to the Downton Abbey set. As a full circle moment, she was eight months pregnant with Princess Charlotte at the time, the same point she’s at in her current pregnancy. At the time, the coat reportedly cost around $95.
Bachelor Nation is shook, including the master of all things Bachelor Chris Harrison. In the finale of Arie Luyendyk Jr.‘s season of The Bachelor, Arie sent Lauren Burnham packing and proposed to Becca Kufrin…only to break up with Becca and go after Lauren. Drama.
“I’ve had a change of heart,” Arie said.
Harrison has been overseeing The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and the other spinoffs as host since the beginning and the move shocked him. “That was wild,” he said on Good Morning America. “Sixteen years of this and that was breathtaking. It was a lot even for me. It’s a lot to take in.
Even after Arie Luyendyk Jr. called off their engagement on national television to pursue another woman, Becca Kufrin doesn’t consider him a “monster.”
“He’s a good person, I don’t think he’s a monster and purposely did this to hurt me and make me feel this way. But it’s just the result of his actions,” Kufrin, 27, told People. “At the end of the day, I don’t think he thought through everything of how ending things with Lauren would be, how being engaged to me would be and what breaking up with me and going back to her would be. I don’t think he thought it through, but I don’t think he did it maliciously to break my heart.”
King hasn’t accepted that Winfrey is uninterested in the job. “No one should be convinced to run for the presidency,” King admitted, “but I also think you have a very unique ability in terms of healing and connecting people.” In response, Winfrey said, “I have great compassion for people, I do, but I think you need more than compassion to be President of the United States.”
Still holding out hope, King wondered if Winfrey might reconsider if Maya Angelou were alive and supported the idea. “What do you think Maya would say? It’s one of those times I really wish Maya was here,” she said. “What do you think Maya would say? You’d certainly ask her.”
“She’d say, ‘Baby, listen to your own heart,'” Winfrey said. “That’s what she would say.”
Pay attention because Katy Perry got quite the entertaining visit from her past.
The Grammy nominee stopped by the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night before heading off to Chile for her world tour. While in the late-night hot seat, Kimmel revealed the show had rounded up five strangers and one person from her past for her to talk to. First, Perry had to figure out who she actually knew, which proved to be a bit of a challenge.
After first picking a guy who she doesn’t actually know at all, the star tried again with a smiling lady named Ahnika who she was friends with in the sixth and seventh grade at Santa Barbara Christian School. “What an incredibly beautiful woman you’ve grown into,” Perry complimented.
Abigail Blumeinstein, the 4-year-old daughter of Broadway star Ruthie Ann Blumeinstein, was hit by a driver and killed on Mar. 5.
According to the New York Police Department, the crash occurred at Ninth Street and Fifth Avenue in Park Slope in Brooklyn, New York. A preliminary investigation by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad revealed that the 44-year-old operator of the vehicle “failed to maintain control of the vehicle and struck the pedestrians.” The car didn’t stop until it hit a parked and unoccupied car. According to NBC 4 New York, the driver claimed to have a medical issue.
Ruthie, who uses the stage name Ruthie Ann Miles, was also hit. She was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
The Broadway star, who is pregnant, and her daughter weren’t the only ones hit by the Volvo. Another woman was injured but is in stable condition. The woman’s 1-year-old son Joshua Lew, however, was killed.
The New York Daily News identified the injured woman as Lauren Lew.
The NYPD told E! News a 46-year-old male was also hit by the vehicle and brought to the hospital in stable condition.
(Sounds similar to Steven Spielberg‘s Hook, no?)

President Donald Trump blamed Sunday’s low Oscar ratings on a lack of star power.
“Lowest rated Oscars in HISTORY,” the commander in chief tweeted on Tuesday. “Problem is, we don’t have stars anymore—except your president (just kidding, of course)!”
Jimmy Kimmel, who hosted the 90th Academy Awards, was quick to respond to the president’s comments.
“Thanks, lowest rated President in HISTORY,” he wrote.
It’s true that Oscar viewership hit an all-time low on Sunday. According to the Los Angeles Times, 26.5 million viewers tuned into the 90th Academy Awards—a nearly 20% drop compared to last year.
Then again, Trump probably didn’t like the jokes told about him on Sunday. During the opening monologue, Kimmel said “Donald Trump called Get Out the best first three-quarters of a movie this year.” He also referenced Vice President Mike Pence in the opener.
“We don’t make films like Call Me by Your Name for money,” Kimmel said. “We make them to upset Mike Pence.”
The apple doesn’t fall far from the musical tree!
It looks like Chris Martinand Gwyneth Paltrow‘s daughter Apple is learning how to play the guitar from an industry pro—her 7-time Grammy-winning dad.
In a sweet clip shared to social media by her Oscar-winning mama, the 13-year-old teen strums through some major and minor shapes as Martin sings through his instructions. Like father, like daughter indeed!
“Guitar time,” the actress captioned the video.
In the mix of the predominantly African-American cast is Tamica Lee, who the network describes as “the face of New Orleans’ entertainment news.” She’s joined by her husband, entrepreneur Barry Smith, whose bare butt we get a glimpse of in the trailer (is that a Bravo first?!), marriage-phobic friend Justin Reese, retired pro football player Jeff Charleston and his feisty wife Reagan Charleston (who doesn’t want to hear any advice from a Yankee on her gumbo, you hear?!), and artist Jon Moody, rocking about 26 abs every time we see him in the brief trailer. Yes, the eye candy is strong with this cast.
Check out the trailer above for your first taste of Southern Charm: New Orleans.
It’s around 5 p.m. and the New York City subway is packed with commuters, yet they’re paying no mind to the man with a slightly neon green tint to his skin. His hair, for the most part, is slicked back with what looks like an unnatural amount of gel, yet despite all of the goop, somehow there are still clumps of hair sticking out every which way. He’s probably not the strangest subway sight for a typical New Yorker, but it’s definitely the strangest I’ve ever looked on train.
I’ve been slimed. As in Nickelodeon slimed, the dream of many, from millennials to current tweens.
Want to live in Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel‘s New York penthouse? For about $8 million, you can.
The singer and the actress are selling their three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath Soho home for a listing price of $7,995,000.
According to real estate company Stribling, the penthouse is approximately 2,598 feet and contains seven rooms—big enough to house one of J.T.’s grand pianos. One of the home’s most notable features is the 853 square foot wraparound and setback terrace that offers stunning views of the city’s skyline. It also features 10-foot tall ceilings, a gas fireplace, custom wood paneling and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan welcomed their second child, George Virginia Morgan, on February 16, but the journey to welcoming their “miracle baby” wasn’t easy.
In a message to fellow women, Burton shared her fertility journey on Instagram Tuesday.
“As some of you know, @jeffreydeanmorgan is off in Europe getting ready to do some big conventions,” Burton began her message. “And he’s self aware enough to know his track record for ‘spilling the beans’ isn’t so great (bless his heart!). So before he starts tripping up in an attempt to maintain our privacy, he asked that I go ahead and post something about our little girl’s birth. But before I do that, there’s something I really want to say to all the women out there who are trying…..”
Gwen Stefani is in a Sin City state of mind.
A source tells E! News the pop singer is “very close” to finalizing a deal for a concert residency in Las Vegas. We’re told “inside negotiations” are taking place for Stefani to headline a gig at the Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood.
“Her visit to Las Vegas this weekend was one of the final pieces of the puzzle,” the insider reveals. “Things are looking very good.” Just yesterday, Gwen shared a photo with Jennifer Lopez backstage at her “All I Have” residency. In December it was announced that J. Lo would conclude the performance run, which also took place at Planet Hollywood, in Sep. 2018.
So what inspired Stefani’s latest professional venture? The source says she has her family in mind.
Lala Kent and Jennifer Lawrence are equally unfiltered.
But Kent was confused and upset when Vanderpump Rules’ most famous fan dissed her on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen last Thursday, where Lawrence said she believes Kent is phony for befriending her enemies. “I’m like, ‘Bitch, you’s a c–t!” she laughed.
Kent responded to Lawrence via Twitter, writing, “Did Jennifer Lawrence really call me a ‘c–t’ on @bravowwhl? Annnnnd talk about my mama? Bitch, you better pray I don’t see you in the streets. You’re one of the highest paid actresses on the planet…you claim you are pro-women and you call another woman a c–t? You’re gross.” Kent deleted her tweets later Thursday night. In an interview Tuesday with Reality Checked‘s Amy Phillips on Andy Cohen‘s SiriusXM channel, Radio Andy, Kent admitted she also congratulated Lawrence “on two bombed movies in a row.”
