Arie Luyendyk Jr. upset a lot of people when he proposed to and then broke up with now-Bachelorette Becca Kufrin on national television. In fact, Drew Christensen, a representative for Kufrin’s home state of Minnesota, was so irked he drafted a bill banning Luyendyk from entering the state.
The 24-year-old politician tweeted a picture of the bill on Wednesday.
“The state of Minnesota hereby adopts a policy of zero tolerance of Arie Luyendyk Jr. from season 22 of The Bachelor,” the bill read. “It is state policy that every person in the state has a right to live free from the presence of Arie Luyendyk Jr. in the state.”
Netflix made waves and left many viewers puzzled when it announced 13 Reasons Why would return for a second season, as would the show’s main (and dead) character Hannah Baker.
The show, based on the book of the same name by Jay Asher, told the story of Hannah Baker (Katherine Langford), and her suicide. Hannah left behind 13 tapes, her 13 reasons why she killed herself, for those still living to listen to.
The show deviated from the book, as most adaptations do, but largely followed the same arc. Hannah, dead, narrating her story as everybody listened to her tapes. There was resolution of sorts when her parents (Kate Walsh and Brian D’Arcy James) received the tapes, but there was also cliffhanger twists featuring a student amassing an arsenal, one running away and another either shooting himself or getting shot in the head.

In honor of International Women’s Day, the Stemettes, an organization that works to inspire the next generation of women to pursue STEM-related careers, hosted the event.
As expected, the couple dressed smartly for the visit, Harry sporting a camel sweater, navy slacks and a matching overcoat while Meghan debuted a white-trim navy J. Crew topcoat with Alexander Wang trousers and Manolo Blahnik pumps.

In the episode, “Sunk Cost Fallacy,” the squad searches for an abducted woman and her daughter, leading Benson (Mariska Hargitay) to cross paths with Cabot.

That’s what moms are for?
Turns out—Charlize Theron‘s mom, Gerda Maritz, is a woman of many talents, including scoring weed for her famous daughter. As the Gringo star explained to Jimmy Kimmel on set Wednesday night, she is no stranger to smoking pot, but as of late, she wondered if a special strain could help her and her mom with their sleeping problems.
“I have really bad sleep and so does my mom, and so we were talking about it because we do take sleep medication,” she told Kimmel. “I was saying to her, you know maybe we should figure out a way to try like a sleeping strain.”
However, the Oscar winner was surprised when her mom showed up to her house one day with the goods. “I really thought I would be the responsible one to have to go and get that,” she quipped to Kimmel.
After a car crash hospitalized Ruthie Ann Blumenstein and killed her 4-year-old daughter Abigail, the Broadway star provided her followers with a life update.
“Thank you for your prayers over our families and holding us in our pain,” a note shared via her Twitter account read. “We are extremely grateful for your kindness and generosity.”
The tragic incident took place Mar. 5 in Brooklyn, New York. According to the New York Police Department, a 44-year-old driver “failed to maintain control” of her vehicle and struck pedestrians at the intersection of Ninth Street and Fifth Avenue in Park Slope. The car didn’t stop until it hit a parked and unoccupied car.
NBC 4 New York reported the driver claimed to have medical issues. She was hospitalized and is now in stable condition.
• Reid’s portrayal of Meg is “a coup of casting that’s crowned by DuVernay’s direction of her,” The New Yorker‘s Richard Brody writes. “Reid is a rare departure from the usual run of exuberant and perky kids (of both sexes) who tend to inhabit children’s films. There’s a mask-like implacability to Meg, an approach to the world that, for all its anger and frustration, doesn’t dare reveal itself fully, even to Meg herself.” Much Like L’Engle’s novel, DuVernay’s film “catches the sense of exhilaration and wonder that arises from the story’s elements of fantasy.”
Demi Lovatois sorry not sorry she left the Met Gala to go to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
As the Grammy nominee revealed in the latest issue of Billboard, the star famously walked the iconic Met Gala red carpet back in 2016 for the first—and what sounds like the last—time.
Donning Moschino and arriving alongside designer Jeremy Scott, Lovato posed for photographers and didn’t seem bothered by anything in particular. However, after a curious photo of Nicki Minaj appearing to give her a serious dose of side eye on the carpet emerged, fans suspected trouble in the couture air.
Princess Eugenie has joined Instagram!
The Duke of York’s official Twitter account announced the news on Thursday.
“Princes Eugenie has joined Instagram!” the account tweeted. “See her first post #IWD2018.”
So how did the 27-year-old princess make her Instagram debut? She shared a video of her speaking about “living fearlessly” with Scoliosis at the 2018 We Day U.K. Charity Concert.
“When I was 12, I was diagnosed with and treated for Scoliosis,” Her Royal Highness said in the clip, “and I have lived with two, 12-inch metal rods in my back. It could have impacted my life and stopped me from doing the things I love.”
Sharing the stage with her sister Princess Beatrice, she then continued, “You encouraged me not to get disheartened, not to give up. To live fearlessly. Today, I am so lucky to get to work with and support other young women who are going through the same thing—to encourage them to not let their diagnosis win. To live fearlessly, too. So, We Day, our first lesson is never give up.”
Liam isn’t the only one standing in Robert’s way of a peaceful run as king. “I think Robert and [Queen Helena] will definitely have some conflict over who is right in different situations and who should take the lead now that he is at the head of the royal family,” Max shared about Robert’s relationship to his mom (played by Elizabeth Hurley).
Even though there seems to be more people against him than for him, don’t underestimate exactly what he’s capable of when it comes to protecting his throne. “I think Robert has a lot of tricks up his sleeve, as far as controlling people and manipulating situations,” Max shared. “So there is plenty more of that coming up.”
Are you ready for…new Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn pictures?
The 28-year-old “Delicate” singer and her 27-year-old British actor boyfriend were spotted on a hike together in Malibu on Wednesday, March 7. This is the first sighting of the duo since December when they were spotted hand in hand after her performance at Jingle Ball in New York City.
Swift can be seen in workout attire for their 90-minute hike, while Alwyn opted for jeans and a T-shirt.
“Taylor looked quite exhausted from the hike but she looked very close to Joe, holding on to his arm and holding hands. They seemed very at ease with each other and relaxed. It’s a very scenic hike where you can enjoy amazing views over the ocean,” an onlooker tells E! News. “They hiked for a total of 90 minutes.”

Grey’s Anatomy is losing two fan-favorite doctors. E! News has confirmed Jessica Capshaw and Sarah Drew will depart the long-running ABC medical drama following season 14.
Capshaw has been on the show as Dr. Arizona Robbins for 10 seasons. Drew has played Dr. April Kepner for nine seasons. The decision appears to be based on a creative direction for season 15 (which has yet to formally be announced).
“The characters of Arizona and April are permanently woven into the fabric of Grey’s Anatomy thanks to the extraordinary work of Jessica Capshaw and Sarah Drew,” Krista Vernoff, co-showrunner and executive producer on Grey’s Anatomy, said in a statement. “As writers, our job is to follow the stories where they want to go and sometimes that means saying goodbye to characters we love. It has been a joy and a privilege to work with these phenomenally talented actresses.”
