This is American…wig? If you tuned in to American Idol’s return on ABC to see Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan in action, you met 18-year-old Noah Davis and probably learned a new meaning for “wig.”
The teen college student performed a rendition of Rihanna‘s “Stay,” but before he took to the piano, he said “wig” to Katy Perry, much to the befuddlement of the other judges.
“I know, wig, I feel that already,” Perry said. “It’s not your language it’s just for us. Wig.”
According to Urban Dictionary, “Wig is a term used to describe when someone does something (In their opinion) that is so good that they go bald.” And “When something happens so unexpectedly, that your wig flies off your head.”
This is a common term on social media, particularly by fans talking about idols. So, did Davis’ performance make Perry lose her wig.

The interview, which was conducted around the time of his book, If I Did It, was previously shelved due to public uproar. The book was initially planned for publish under Regan’s former HarperCollins Publishers imprint, ReganBooks.
During the never-before-aired footage of the sit-down, Simpson makes references to a mystery man and recent friend named Charlie, with whom he said during the hypothetical account he went to Nicole’s home.

There’s still a lot to see of this man and of this family and everyone. It’s exciting. It honestly is the best job in the world.”

While she’s not officially part of the family just yet, Meghan Marklegot perhaps her biggest dose of royal life so far when she attended her first Commonwealth Day on Monday.
Sporting a vivid cream beret-style Stephen Jones hat and matching coat by Amanda Wakeley, it was hard to miss the American star as she entered Westminster Abbey beside her British beau, Prince Harry, and behind her future in-laws, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middletonand Prince Williamfor the recurring interfaith service synonymous with the occasion.
Following suit with the rest of the royal family members, Markle shook hands down a line of public figures as Charles, Prince of Whales and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla Parker Bowles arrived not far behind them. The siblings and their partners then followed in a procession down the aisle to their seats.
Not long after, Queen Elizabeth II arrived without Prince Philip to the church, trumpets sounding off as she stepped inside. This marks Markle’s first official event with the monarch.
But during that conversation, Scheana finally admits Rob may be more reserved than she would like, saying, “Eventually we’re going to get married. Yes, maybe slower than I would want.”
And that sentence serves as the ammunition Jax needs to prove his point, telling Scheana, “That right there was all I was saying.”
Scheana? Not exactly thrilled by Jax’s reaction.
Ellen DeGeneres put the star’s comedic talents to the test when he came on her show to promote his HBO series, Barry. The TV host had the funny guy impersonate famous actors doing random tasks and unsurprisingly, the SNL alum was spot-on with his impersonations of famous people such as Seth Rogen and Elvis Presley.
He pretended to be the member of the boy band, using his posh British accent to tell the “personal trainer” to add more weights. He joked that it was too much, telling them, “No take it off, take it off.”
So, how is Alec adjusting to life as a big brother? Haines said she and her husband got their 2-year-old tot his own baby doll so he had something to hold when they’re holding Sandra. However, it looks like their son is still getting used to the big brother role.
“So he carries his baby and we carry our baby, and we really don’t swap very often,” she said. “Because he’s really good for a few seconds before he grabs her by the head and drags her down the wall. We’re working on his babysitting skills.”
“There was a period where we had wrapped the show in November and immediately you start to think, OK, we’ve got until March to see who our Bachelorette is,” Mills explained. “Part of it is you wait until the show starts airing and you see who’s clicking and who people want to see. So we had been talking about it.”
While Arie was a surprising throwback for Bachelor Nation, having been absent from any of the franchise’s shows for over five years, Mills confirmed that the Bachelorette “definitely would’ve been somebody from this season,” even if it wasn’t Becca.
The likely contenders? Bekah Martinez, Kendall Long, Tia Booth, Seinne Fleming and Caroline Lunny.
In December, America watched as Jimmy Kimmel returned to late night with his baby boy, Billy, in his arms. His tear-jerking monologue about his son’s illness—and his second heart surgery—tugged at viewers’ heart strings.
Months later, Kimmel sat down with Oprah Winfrey in an interview for O, The Oprah Magazine‘s April issue to discuss that critical moment in his family’s history and how he decided to candidly address his viewers last spring on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
“I didn’t really know what I was going to say until right before the show,” Kimmel confessed. “I wanted to make sure I mentioned all the doctors and had the information correct, so I did some research beforehand. I wasn’t intending to cry, though I knew I probably would. You know, some things are so painful and so difficult to write that you wait until the last minute.”
Although he cried on national television, he admits he didn’t cry in the hospital during the diagnosis.
“There wasn’t a lot of crying,” he said, “partly because I felt like it would upset other members of my family if I got upset.”
Most importantly, he didn’t want to upset his wife, Molly McNearney. Kimmel and his show’s co-head writer had to stay strong for each other during the most traumatic moment of their lives, so the two kept secrets from each other, only coming clean after they knew Billy would be OK.
“There were secrets we kept from each other that we revealed only after the second surgery,” he said. “The biggest one was that, I think subconsciously, we didn’t want to get too close to the baby, because we didn’t know what was going to happen…I don’t know if that’s right or wrong or common or uncommon. But when I told her I was feeling that way, she said, ‘Oh, I’m so happy you said that because I was feeling that way too, and I didn’t want to express it.'”
