Brad Pitt vs. the Rumor Mill: Why He’s the Target of Even More Wild Stories Than Usual

No news is probably good news if you are Brad Pitt.

But apparently it’s not the greatest if you’re just really invested in what’s going on with Brad Pitt.

No longer newly single, nor is he even divorced yet, and with no films coming out in 2018, the actor has retreated into enigma mode in recent months, choosing to operate almost entirely under the radar while he has the opportunity to do so. He went to Sean Penn‘s annual Haiti benefit in January, where he was outbid to watch Game of Thrones with Emilia Clarke, and then he went to two parties earlier this month—the Gersh Agency’s pre-Oscars shindig at Chateau Marmont and a dinner for Penn’s new book at Giorgio Baldi—and that’s about it as far as high-profile socializing has gone.

Which isn’t to say he isn’t socializing at all. He’s just doing so in places where the cameras can’t follow.

However, not being a visible participant in the Hollywood game hasn’t made him any less irresistible of a target when it comes to speculation as to what he’s up to behind closed doors.

Blake Lively Perfects the LBD and More Best Dressed Stars

Even though it’s still winter, stars were shining bright this week.

Celebs like Blake Lively and Eiza González sparkled like diamonds at Lorraine Schwartz’s launch of The Eye Bangle, while celebs like Alicia Vikander and Krysten Ritter stood proud as the badass leading ladies of their projects, Tomb Raider and Marvel’s Jessica Jones respectively, on the red carpet. Then, there was Storm Reid, the 14-year-old star of A Wrinkle in Time, who has been demonstrating her budding fashion sense on her press tour.

Between movies premieres and beauty launches, there was a lot going in the celeb world, and a lot to dress for.

Tamar Braxton Shaves Her Head: “I’m Over Feeling Captive to a Wig”

Tamar Braxton is feeling a little freer these days.

That’s because the Grammy nominee recently shed her locks in the name of liberty. On Wednesday, she tuned fans and followers into her new cut by sharing a video of herself in the chair while someone took a buzzer to her head. “Finally free,” she wrote.

The songstress issued a declaration reclaiming her identity after the big buzz cut. “Im over feeling captive to a wig, weave, people, people’s comments & opinions hell…even my OWN feelings!” she penned on Instagram. “WE can choose to stop these things from having the power and victory over us!! And for me, that starts TODAY.”

Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Teases Global Destruction, New Alliances and Thanos’ Rise to Power

After the events of 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, the heroes are “fractured at the start of the movie. It was always the intent, in a larger arc, to split the Avengers up before the greatest threat they’ve ever seen,” co-director Joe Russo recently told Entertainment Weekly. “Thanos is a virtually indestructible character, which makes him an extremely difficult character to fight.”

Downey, who launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2008 with Iron Man, promised a spectacular climax in Infinity War. “Believe me, I’m tired of every movie, you know, ‘It’s the end! It’s Armageddon! It’s the be-all, end-all, forever!’ And then it’s…not. This one actually is,” Downey told the magazine with a laugh. “They’re not kidding. This is a heads-will-roll scenario.”

“The notion of an ending, the notion of a finale, became very intriguing to us, on large part because you don’t see it that often in this particular genre,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige added. With this film, and its 2019 sequel, “We’re going to pull out the stops, and stop exploring conventions, and look to do stuff where we go, ‘Oh, but if we do that, that’s very, very definitive,'” Downey said. “Well, great, let’s get definitive for a change! We’re like a family now. Ten years later, we’re hanging out and having lunch, and kind of wondering when the draft is going to come in. Which one of us bites it and when?” At least some of the character will not survive, as screenwriter Stephen McFeely said, “It’s safe to say we will say farewell to people.”

But before then, the heroes must unite to stop Thanos.

Versace Bids Farewell to Fur: “I Don’t Want to Kill Animals to Make Fashion”

At Versace, fur has reached its finale.

The 40-year-old Italian luxury brand revealed it is ditching fur designs—a longtime element of the brand’s aesthetic—for good in the name of people and the planet. “Fur? I am out of that,” Artistic Director Donatella Versace told The Economist. “I don’t want to kill animals to make fashion.”

According to the company’s announcement, this decision was spurred by a broader plan for Versace to take a more sustainable, conscious and environment-savvy approach moving forward. As an example, this plan is reflected in a new London boutique that is LEED certified; upcoming stores in Miami and Munich will be the same.

Camila Cabello Feels Like She’s on “Cloud 9” Since Dating Matthew Hussey

Camila Cabello is “really, really happy”—partially thanks to her new relationship with Matthew Hussey

About a month after the 21-year-old singer was spotted kissing the 30-year-old dating coach, the “Havana” star appeared on The Dan Wootton Interview podcast, where she was asked if she was happy and if she was in love.

“I am really, really happy….I feel like I’ve never been happier in my life,” she said.

However, she kept a tighter lip when addressing whether she was in love.

“As far as that, I have always been such a private person and the one thing that has been, I think, the hardest thing about this industry has been letting go of that privacy,” she said. “‘Cause I feel like, for my sanity and for the sanity of the people I care about, you gotta keep some things sacred. I need to keep some things mine for them to be special—and just to protect that. But yeah, to answer your question, I’m really happy.”

In fact, earlier on in the interview, the former Fifth Harmony member said she felt like she was on “cloud nine.”

Matthew Morrison Outraged by Alleged Dog Abuse Video Filmed for His Movie

A video of alleged abuse of a dog on the set of Matthew Morrison‘s new movie has surfaced and the Glee alum says he is heartbroken by the footage and has called the producers  to express his outrage.

PETA posted the clip on Thursday, saying it appears to show a cage containing a German Shepherd suspended 20 feet in the air, then spun around by a crane and then plunged into a freezing river. The animal rights group said a whistleblower provided the footage and that it was shot in November for a scene for Crazy Alien, which was filmed in China. The person said the director, Hao Ning, ordered two takes. TMZ quoted sources as saying that the dog did not appear to be injured, but was shaken up.

“I’ve just been made aware and seen a video from the set of a film I worked on in China,” Morrison, who plays the lead character in the sci-fi comedy movie, tweeted on Thursday. “My heart is broken to see any animal treated this way. Had I been on set or known about this, I would have made all efforts to stop this. I’ve called the producers to express my outrage.”

Why RuPaul’s Drag Race Needs to Change Its Controversial All Stars Elimination Process

Did RuPaul just totally f–k it up?

In last night’s season finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3, before the final four could be culled down to a top two and a winner could join Chad Michaels and Alaska in the Drag Race Hall of Fame, Mama Ru introduced the final gag of the season. For the first time in Drag Race herstory, the eliminated queens returned (yes, again) to act as a jury of the final four’s “queer peers,” as Ru put it, and determine which two would get the opportunity to lip sync for their legacy as the top two.

Shangela, Trixie Mattel, Kennedy Davenport and BeBe Zahara Benet each had to take a seat across from Morgan McMichaels, Thorgy Thor, Milk, Aja, Chi Chi DeVayne and BenDeLaCreme and plead their case for why they should make it to the top two. But when it came time for Morgan, acting as jury forewoman, to reveal who was moving on, it became abundantly clear that the season’s final gag was nothing more than the ultimate face crack.

Angelina Jolie Shares Her Simple Makeup Routine–and How a Sharpie Was Once Involved

When it comes to beauty, Angelina Jolie wants to see your soul.

Long hailed as one of the most beautiful women in the world, the Oscar winner takes a surprisingly simple approach to her beauty routine for someone whose appearance ignites a full-on frenzy every time she walks out the door.

As a self-proclaimed tomboy growing up, Jolie was less interested in product and more enthralled by personality. “I’m sure I had my moments when I was little where I would put makeup all over my face, but I was a bit of a tomboy. And then I was a bit of a punk,” she recalled to InStyle. “Nowadays it’s very popular to dye your hair blue, for example. In my day you bleached it and used a Sharpie [for color].”

Jolie continued, “I’ve never gone to a girlfriend’s house and played makeup. I’m not one of those women who say, ‘Hey, let’s have a night and do each other’s hair.’ I’ve never been that, but I find that really sweet.”

Kelly Ripa Explains Why She Loves to “Troll a Troll” on Instagram

Kelly Ripa has often clapped back at her haters on social media and says she loves to “troll a troll.”

The LIVE! With Kelly and Ryan co-host has recently responded to people who have criticized her as well as her husband, Mark Consuelos.

“I love a clapback,” Ripa said on The Wendy Williams Show on Friday in an interview with guest host Jerry O’Connell, who has co-hosted LIVE! with her before. ‘I love a troll but I love to troll a troll. Like, if you’re gonna troll me, then I’m gonna troll back. And that, we can all agree, that is the way God intended.”
