Kanye West Apologizes to Drake and Addresses Pusha T’s Diss Tracks

Kanye West took to Twitter on Wednesday to apologize to Drake and address their feud.

“Sending good energy and love to Drake and family and crew,” the “Gold Digger” star wrote alongside a screenshot of Drake’s stage. “I haven’t seen the show in person but the images look incredible online I understand where the confusion started.”

His mea culpa also included an apology for “stepping on your release date in the first place” and noted that the two had been “building a bond and working on music together, including squashing the issues with Cudi at our office. He also admitted he had been “a bit ramped up doing 25 tweets a day” at the time and that “TMZ happened shortly after.”

“Because we spoke about doing Lift Yourself together I should have given you the opportunity for us to do this together before I released it,” he later added after boarding a plane, citing the track he released in April.

Check Out the 2018 E! People’s Choice Awards Movie Nominees, Including Black Panther, A Wrinkle in Time and More!

Today is the day, the 2018 E! People’s Choice Awards nominations have been revealed.

After months of waiting, fans now know which of their favorite actors, artists, films and more have made the list for E!’s inaugural broadcast of the People’s Choice Awards

While we are fans of every category that made the cut, movies have made a big splash over the past year that we’re not-so patiently waiting to see which of the films nominated you decide deserves to take home the trophies in each area.

Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Deadpool 2 for example showed that superhero movies are here to stay and therefore they could clean up nicely at this year’s show, which airs live on E! on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Dramas such as A Quiet Place, Red Sparrow and Adrift also caught our eye at the box office this year not to mention the magical world that is A Wrinkle in Time.

Janet Jackson Discusses Motherhood and Learning to Love Her Body

At this point in her life, Janet Jackson knows who she is and what she wants.

The 52-year-old singer graces the cover of InStyle‘s Beauty Issue. And in a wide-ranging interview with editor in chief Laura Brown, the living legend discusses everything from her life as a single parent to how she learned to love her body after spending a lifetime in the limelight.

Jackson spent much of the last year on the road with her son, Eissa Al Mana, 20 months. Because of her jam-packed schedule—Jackson’s State of the World Tour ends Oct. 2 in Atlantic City—she has him on a tight schedule. “My son, Eissa, wakes me up in the morning around 7:30 or 8. I change his diaper. Breakfast is prepared, and he has that. I’ll go back into my room. That’s when I answer my mail. Because overnight I get a ton of mail,” she says. Afterward, “I’ll wash my face, brush my teeth, climb back into bed, answer more mail, make my calls, and around 10 a.m. I’ll have my breakfast, and my son has his second breakfast with me. He sits on my lap, and we eat my breakfast together. Most of the time I’ll start getting ready at 11. So, I will have showered and everything by then. I’ll either work out or try to work out at the venue.”

The “Made for Now” singer exercises with celebrity trainer Paulette Sybliss to stay fit—mentally and physically. “It’s very important. First of all, it helped me with my pregnancy. When I was in New York, I was walking and doing stairs every day. The doctor said as long, ‘As you’re not feeling any pain or having any problems and it’s not too much for you, more power to you.'” Like most people, Jackson “had major moments of slacking off,” as well as “moments when I was going for it. So, it depends on where I am or what I’m doing at that time in my life.”

“There have been times when I’ve called Paulette and said, ‘I’m not going to make the workout,'” says Jackson, who prioritizes sleep. “She knows how crazy my life is, and she understands it. Sometimes I have an emergency call and I’ll say, ‘I really want to work out, but I don’t know how long this is.’ She’ll say, ‘If you want, I’ll wait for you.’ And other times when I’ve been so mentally exhausted, we’ll just take a two-mile walk and talk, and it feels so good.”

Serial Season 3 Gets a Premiere Date: All the Details

Get ready Serial fans!

The third season of the hit podcast series has a premiere date—and it’s just a few weeks away.

That’s right! Serial season three will be available to download starting Sept. 20. The podcast’s official Twitter account announced the news on Wednesday and shared a trailer for the upcoming season.

“We spent a year inside the criminal courts in Cleveland,” part of the account’s tweet read. “This season, you’ll see what we saw—from the inside.”

The new season focuses on the criminal justice system. During the episodes, host Sarah Koenig recounts her experiences from inside the city court.

“I don’t think we can understand how the criminal justice system works by interrogating one extraordinary case,” Koenig says at one point in the trailer. “Ordinary cases are where we need to look. This season of Serial, we do just that.”

As for the reasoning behind focusing on the Ohio city’s court, Koenig suggests it was about access.

“We chose Cleveland because they let us record everywhere—courtrooms, back hallways, judges’ chambers, the prosecutors office,” Koenig explains. “And then we followed those cases outside the building, into neighborhoods, into people’s houses, and into prison.”

Why You Shouldn’t Dismiss Law and Order: Hate Crimes Just Yet

In the TV criminal justice system, sexually-based offenses have been fueling Law & Order: SVU for 20 years. Now in a new SVU spinoff, an elite squad of detectives known as the Hate Crimes Unit will take on just what their division name says, hate crimes. At first glance, the title Law & Order: Hate Crimes, and the content, can make a viewer wince. Do we need more violence on TV, especially violence directed at minority and marginalized groups? The answer to that is debatable, but let’s take a look.

Law & Order: Hate Crimes hails from franchise mastermind Dick Wolf and former Law & Order: SVU showrunner Warren Leight. Leight shepherded SVU from season 13-17. No, he was not responsible for Christopher Meloni leaving at the end of season 12, but yes, he was responsible for the show diving deeper into the lives of the detectives and actually giving Mariska Hargitay‘s Olivia Benson some character growth. There’s no reason that won’t happen on Hate Crimes.
