More than three months since iconic designer Kate Spade‘s untimely death, famed fashionistas, industry mavens and fans came across a moving surprise when they took their seats at the spring-summer 2018 fashion show on Friday for Kate Spade New York—the company the late 55-year-old designer founded in 1993 and subsequently sold in 2006.
On each of the show’s seats inside the New York Public Library, where new Creative Director Nicola Glass debuted the brand’s first collection under her direction and since Spade’s death, there was a card that read, “She left a little sparkle everywhere she went.”
It’s (still) goin’ down.
E! News has a sneak peek at the latest trailer for Under the Sea: A Descendants Short Story, airing tonight on Disney Channel at 9 p.m. When the 10-minute special was announced earlier this month, fans saw Mal (Dove Cameron) encountering Dizzy (Anna Cathcart) on the beach. Something seemed askew, prompting Mal to ask Dizzy, “Why are you wearing Uma’s necklace?” In the new trailer, it appears the youngest VK is under some sort of spell, courtesy of Uma (China Anne McClain) and her henchmen, Harry (Thomas Doherty) and Gil (Dylan Playfair).
“There’s a war coming,” Dizzy (or Uma?) warns. “And you, princess: I’m coming for you, Mal.”
“Not if I come for you first!” Mal says.
After escaping by jumping into the ocean, Mal comes face to face with—you guessed it!—Uma.
Just last year, Taylor attended the pop star’s concert at Chicago’s Wrigley Field. Meanwhile, Gaga is happily in love with talent agent Christian Carino, who has stood by her side in the weeks before her first starring role officially gets released on Oct 5.
The 32-year-old has shied away from discussing her relationship with Carino publicly, but revealed in an interview with E! News that she draw much of the inspiration for her Joanne album from her days with Taylor.
“I would just say that my music on my album as well as all my albums is inspired by my personal life and this one more than others,” she told us in 2016. “I have said it before—I love Taylor so much and he’s my best friend.”
Mac Miller has passed away at the age of 26.
TMZ has reported that the rapper (real name Malcolm James McCormick) died Friday after an apparent overdose. A spokesperson for the LAPD tells E! News that officers “responded to a death investigation” near Miller’s home in Studio City, Calif. on Friday afternoon, but couldn’t confirm the name of the deceased.
Miller had been preparing to go on tour at the end of next month, with one of his last tweets encouraging his fans to get tickets to a show. “I’m bringing a band. The show is going to be special every night,” he wrote on Twitter Thursday. “I wish it started tomorrow. It starts October 27th.”
“And the Heartbreak Soldier must live on!”
Lil Xan, whose real name is Diego Leanos, is moving on after his very public breakup from singer Noah Cyrus. The rapper took to Instagram with the help of a friend on Friday morning, to let the Xanarchy know everything will be okay. However, before people could jump to conclusions, he said, “this isn’t my new gf before everyone freaks out.”
A source told E! News the two are actually collaborators.
His post to Instagram followed a night of celebrating his 22nd birthday with friends and fans. The rapper wore a black and white ensemble for the celebration, which could be seen in the photo captioned: “Most hated Birthday boy.”
Lil Xan’s photo opp with the Instagram model comes days after he and Cyrus split in a heated exchange that took place over social media. The saga began on Monday after the rapper alleged his girlfriend was cheating on him, thus igniting an emotional back and forth.
The 2018 Toronto International Film Festival has officially kicked off in Canada!
Many of Hollywood’s A-list actors have already arrived to the 10-day festival, where their upcoming movies will be screened by lucky attendees. Before heading inside to the movie screenings, celebs have been hitting the red carpet to pose for pictures along with their cast members. Chris Pine, Chloe Grace Moretz and Aaron Taylor Johnson are just some of the stars who’ve already arrived to the film festival.
So, while we might have to wait a little longer to see their new movies, we can enjoy new pictures of our favorite actors at 2018 TIFF right now!
“I’m not doing as many drugs. It just eats at your mind, doing drugs every single day, every second. It’s rough on your body,” he explained to Billboard back in August 2015. “That was the plan with Faces: ‘Grand Finale’ was supposed to be the last song I made on earth. I don’t feel that way as much anymore.”
As his fame continued to grow, some could argue that Mac worked even harder to live a healthier lifestyle.
“I’d rather be the corny white rapper than the drugged-out mess who can’t even get out of his house,” he once shared with Fader. “Overdosing is just not cool. You don’t go down history bc you overdose. You just die.”
But before he came to that realization, Mac admitted that he would get “super f–ked up.” At the same time, he reminded those close to him that he was in control of his life.
“I have a tendency to kinda brood about stuff and cook in it.”
So Mac Miller told Vulture last month, indicating that he was his own toughest critic, the judgment inside his head more likely to propel him forward than any input from the outside.
He had nothing but trouble in the first half of 2018, his breakup with Ariana Grandein May followed days later by an arrest for DUI and hit and run, after he ran his Mercedes G Wagon into a power pole and drove off. A witness reported the accident and police showed up at his house.
“He was the most polite and nice intoxicated person we’ve ever seen,” a law enforcement source told TMZ.
But a couple weeks later, Miller dropped three new songs—”Small Worlds,” “Buttons” and “Programs”—and since then he seemed on the up and up. He wished Grande well on her engagement to Pete Davidson. He was on the go promoting his new album, Swimming, which came out Aug. 3. He did a “Tiny Desk” concert for NPR and performed on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Aug. 13. He was going on tour in October. Later in the month he was playing tennis and enjoying the L.A. sunshine.
“I’m back, man, I got another record,” a smiling Miller told Zane Lowe in July, at which the Beats 1 host remarked, “Yeah, and you look good, man, there’s light in your eyes.”
When it comes to her daughter, nothing comes in between Kylie Jenner and Stormi, including her makeup.
The makeup mogul shared a video of herself and the seven-month-old dancing on Snapchat, while she gets her makeup done. Stormi can be seen dancing and hopping up and down to the music as her mommy cuddles her. She then gives Kylie an adorable hug.
Kylie and the infant have been enjoying plenty of mother-daughter time in recent days, with the reality star sharing a selfie of them getting ready for the day on Wednesday. The new mom revealed, “Holding onto my hair is the new thing.”
They have also been spending plenty of time basking in the sun before summer comes to an end. Kylie and Stormi lounged by the pool this past weekend, with the Life of Kylie star wearing a neon green two-piece, similar to the one her older sister Kim Kardashian sported in Miami.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are officially the power couple of 2018.
The recently engaged pair stepped out in style for the Ralph Lauren 50th Anniversary show during New York Fashion Week. Priyanka dazzled in a long-sleeve, floor-length gown, which she paired with a silver metallic clutch, while her fiance stunned in an equally stylish white tuxedo for the event.
Nick and Priyanka’s appearance at the Ralph Lauren show is fitting considering sparks first ignited between the pair when they wore complementary Ralph Lauren designs at the 2017 Met Gala. After the star-studded event, Priyanka played it sly when grilled by Jimmy Kimmelabout her date night with the then-24-year-old singer. She explained, “We were both wearing Ralph Lauren, and we decided to go together because it was fun…yeah, I didn’t ask his age. 11?”
Little did she know she would be engaged to the star over a year later.
Cardi was seen escorted out of the private event with her team in tow.
Shortly after the fight, Cardi took to Instagram to vent her frustrations over the “Bed” rapper.
“I’ve let a lot of s–t slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f–k up the way I eat! You’ve threatened other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop f–kin with them!! I let you talk big s–t about me!!”
When Christian Siriano first made his way on Project Runway, the judges and viewers alike immediately took notice.
“I really believe he is his generation’s Marc Jacobs,” host and mentor Tim Gunn shared at the 2008 GLAAD Awards. “I really do. We have found America’s next great fashion designer.”
Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Heidi Klum loved the designer so much that they crowned him the winner of season four.
And close to 10 years after Christian earned the top title, the red carpet veteran will return to New York Fashion Week today to showcase what is sure to be another unforgettable collection. Oh, and did we mention Hollywood stars are lining up hoping to secure one of his dresses for the upcoming 2018 Emmy Awards?
Christian’s journey from reality show contestant to fashion week staple didn’t exactly happen overnight. In fact, it didn’t start until the Maryland native completed a summer program at the Fashion Institute of Technology where an instructor spotted something special in his skills and encouraged the student to keep going.
